chapter three -▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃
YOUTHFULNESS OF a child is what they would want to enjoy- but in a world that teaches children that they are nothing but a tool to the higher ups is unforgivable. Taking out a child's childhood only gives them trauma, their point of view at the world and at the people surrounding them has now changed.
For the case of a seventeen year old you, who's dreams were forced to be given up, and trying to find a new pathway- after saving someone whom you didn't get the chance to say goodbye...
It is really something that will be stuck inside of you forever.
The sound of footsteps as two figures walks in the street- making their way to your apartment. You don't know anything about this man and yet here you are- taking him into your safe space.
Hanma follows you from behind while you were leading. A stare that could be felt behind your head, you shrugged your shoulders. It was understandable for him to do that after all.
"You're bold to bring a stranger to your place," Hanma started- he gave a low chuckle afterwards. You took a glance at the man behind.
The guy behind you has the aura of vicious schemes but another part it feels like he was slowly draining out- you know how that feels. You've been there multiple times.
Before giving a direct answer, you licked your chapped lips. "I don't even know what I'm doing- like bringing you to my home," You paused. "I guess, I just wanted someone else's company?"
For the past three months all you had been doing was staying in your apartment- doing nothing but eat, sleep, and play different kinds of movies in the television. Loneliness caught up with you, it's really normal. No human interaction- well except when the delivery guy delivers your food and a grandma who comes over once in a while, they both were the only company you had and yet it still feels lonely inside your room.
Hanma hummed, his vision focuses on your face. A gloomy expression, filled with despair- no other hope that could be found was stuck for a few seconds. A stab in the chest that Hanma had felt, a gut feeling that he should stay with you, but that was only a choice for him.
The frown visible to your face changed into a small grin- but the feeling of despondent was still present. You halt on your tracks, turning your head to the right. Hanma follows where you were looking.
"This is my apartment," You stated and continued with your tracks. "Let's go, I'm getting tired with walking."
Placing the key on the keyhole- you turned it around, opening the door, and switching the lights on. A familiar fragrance that you were used to greets the both of you as two figures enters.
Your apartment wasn't that small nor is big- it was just enough for you to live in. Hanma scanned his eyes throughout the room whilst walking forward.
In the living room was a couch, small pillows that was scattered everywhere. A quite messy table- packets of chips that were left behind and a television infront- DVDs were all over the place.
The kitchen wasn't quite the mess- probably you don't know how to cook. There was another hallway- walking across it would lead to the balcony and two doors from each sides. One of the room must've been yours and the other is a bathroom.
