in this place.
chapter fourteen -
▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃
BACK TO step one, to the lonely night and to the shining lights. Take a step but watch out cause each step might take you to the wrong place. Who knows what will happen- will you able to survive?
You just couldn't help it. One day, everything will break apart. Taking steps in a pathway filled with thorns. Who will be the one to save you?
A soft breeze came in contact with your face. You exhaled deeply, trying to forget about the negative thoughts- you shook your head whilst eyes were closing.
Let your thoughts drown in a ocean, where no one can see it. Secure it in a box where no can understand it.
Hanma leans on his back, head high whilst staring at the bright moon. The sea viewed infront of both teenagers made a crashing sounds together with the waves. To think that they were back to this place, he still won't forget that day. Cold chilly nights- as the usual but Hanma couldn't help but think to himself.
You were quiet- really quiet.
It felt lonely, everything that was surrounding you. You were like missing something, Hanma just couldn't pin point it.
The young man turns his head to his companion trying to start a conversation. He couldn't stand the silence you were giving out throughout the night. It felt weird for some reason.
Hanma opens his mouth to let out some words however- you beat him to it.
"Do you still remember?" Hanma hummed at your question, spinning a head back at the person sitting beside him. You had your head shoved into your knees, hair covering your face and a muffled voice. The young man raises a brow, eager to finish your sentence.
"Do you still remember when we first both met?"
That's right- it was here. In this place when you first both met. Months after Kisaki's death his life turned dull and that is he got to meet you- speaking of Kisaki's death. It would be his death anniversary next month maybe Hanma will take the time to visit him.
Tokyo was shining with colors that day you both met and is still up to this time. And may it continue to shine being together with the woman beside him.
A clear vision of your face, Hanma's throat felt like it was being twisted around. You slowly turned your head at him and a smile that had never left on your face everyday.
It was you who took him back here.
To reminisce about the day you both met? Maybe. Or was it to not forget them? It's one of those choices.
Your mind wasn't in the right line, you might lose yourself and yet again- you kept the same smile. Nobody would want to see you cry, right? So, you keep it in.
The young man infront of you was silent for the meantime. You were patiently waiting for his answer, a smile that had never disappeared.
"Obviously," Alas- Hanma replies. A shallow sigh that was released afterwards. "There's no possible chance I would forget about it."
