xxvi : insatiable

Hisoka had a couple fights planned out for the day. He offered you the tickets to watch him, but you declined to spend time with Rayn. You obviously didn't tell him why you declined though.
While you were out at a gym training and improving your nen abilities with Rayn you got a text from Hisoka that said,

"I'll be back at my hotel in an hour ⭐️-_-💧See you then."

He didn't even give you a choice or ask if you were busy, he just told you what to do. What a fucking prick, you rolled your eyes.
In fact, you were busy and because of his sudden arrogant attitude you didn't really want to see him. He had always been like this but that didn't make it any less annoying.
Here you thought you wouldn't be seeing him because you both had plans, but he abruptly changed that.

"Is it from your boyfriend?" Rayn asked with a nosy little smile.
"It's Hisoka."

"Same thing." He laughed.

"I gotta go pretty soon."
"Aw, really? We just started an hour ago." He frowned.
"I'm sorry.. I can still do cool down exercises with you though."
"Nah, it's okay. I'm gonna stay here for a while longer. Gotta strengthen my nen, you know?" He said while he tried his hardest to flex his aura. You smiled at him softly and praised him for his improvement.

He smiled back as he realized how much happier you'd been since you got back with Hisoka. Rayn still worried for your safety around him but he kept those fears to himself. "Well, See you later, (y/n)!"
"Later." You waved back to him.

"WAIT!" Rayn called out to you, "One more thing." He panted as he ran all the way to catch up to you.

"What's wrong?" You asked slightly panicked. He handed you a braided red yarn bracelet and slipped it on your wrist. "Here. I made this for you. You're my best friend, (y/n), I want to give you something to prove it. For being there for me when I needed it most. And for helping me improve my nen." He added the last part with a nervous chuckle.

"You're my best friend too." You smiled softly at him and gave him a hug. He let out a relieved sigh that you didn't reject his token of friendship. "Look! I even made one for myself so we can match."
"That's adorable." You said genuinely then he went back to train.

You took a shower in Hisoka's hotel room and changed into some of his more casual clothes, not that he had many. You started to smell like him after using his soap and borrowing his clothes.

There were 15 minutes until he was supposed to come back so you decided to take the elevator to the ground floor to get something to eat from the little cafe in the hotel.
When the elevator door first opened you looked around and there was no one else there.

In fact, it seemed like there was no one anywhere. Your breath felt tight in your chest.

There was that feeling of being prey again, and you knew who was behind it.

You took a couple steps out of the elevator before you hesitantly looked around. The room was covered in purple bloodlust. You activated your nen and contemplated concealing your aura but decided against it.

Hisoka came from the corner, walking at a freakishly slow pace. His eyes were dark and somewhat bloodshot. He had dark eye bags that made it seem like he hadn't slept in days. Stray strands of hair fell in front of his face, the star and teardrop on his cheeks were smudged.
