Amanogi bit his nail nervously as he watched the players getting ready to play.
"Amanogi-kun, why didn't you tell them before?"
The silver haired boy smiled as he turned to the girl, "Which one? My talk with the Coach?"
Rena nodded and shot concerned eyes towards him. "You promised him to prove that the third string are going to win today, or else you're going to stop as the manager, right?" the girl whispered. Amanogi sighed, he knew he took such a big gamble. But because of that bet he could change the routine however he like.
"It's going to pressure them even more." he smiled as he watched the boys. "You can trust them, Rena-san. I'm sure they're going to do their best."
Amanogi walked towards the boys, reminding them what they need to focus on, then went back to his seat. "Ugh, I felt even more pressured than the boys." he murmured as he crossed his hands. Rena laughed, "Don't worry Coach, they're going to win, just as you said."
"Yū."
The silver haired boy flickered his gaze to the right, "Sei? What are you doing here?"
Akashi hummed and took a seat besides the boy. "Head Coach say he's going to watch the third string practice match. I wonder if he made a bet with someone hm?" he asked teasingly. Amanogi pouted, "Well I guess the Coach told you already right?" he turned to the boys who were playing and knitted his eyebrows. "What do you think, who's going to win?"
The red haired boy chuckled, "Judging by your expression, I knew the outcome from this match already."
"Don't you have practice? Where's the others?" Amanogi asked as he looked around, trying to find the others. Akashi shook his head, "We're having a break. Alright, I need to go, I'm here just because I want to see you." he replied as he patted the boy's hair. "Don't push yourself, Yū."
"Yes yes, take care too."
Amanogi watched the boy walking outside, then turned to the side as he felt Rena staring at him while trying not to smile. "Yes, Rena-san?" he asked confusedly, as the girl was blushing at his direction. The girl only hid her head under the board on her hand, 'I felt like I disturb something.'
And as they thought, the boys won--after a very close match, just 65 - 66. Amanogi turned to Shirogane Kōzō--the Head Coach--who was smirking on the second floor. The boy sighed in relief, 'I think it's fine now right?'
"Eh, why are they so excited ssu?"
The GoM members walked in because they're curious of the match. And because the Head Coach himself said that he's going to monitor the practice match. Also, after this the first string were going to have a match with the second string, that's why they went to the gym.
"Isn't that the brat?" Aomine asked while pointing at the silver haired boy surrounded by the boys. They got irritated as the boys were getting too close to Amanogi.
"Nogi-chin~"
"E-Eh Atsu, you scare me! Don't lift me suddenly like that!"
"Here, take a throat candy, you're shouting too much nanodayo."
"You're sweating Amanogi-cchi! Here, let me wipe your forehead ssu!"
"Don't forget to sit down, Yū-kun."
"Are you comfortable with them? I can arrange it so you won't have to be surrounded anymore, Yū."
Amanogi sweatdropped as the rainbow haired boys suddenly circled him, shoving away the third string members. The players were getting a grasp of the situation and quickly scattered, to avoid any clash to the first string members.
