38 : I'm Here Again

Amanogi woke up feeling groggy.

'I felt like forgetting something important..' he thought while staring a this phone. 'Oh well, if it's important I'll remember it later.'

He got up and stretched his arms, then yawned widely as he didn't get proper sleep last night.

'Knock Knock'

"Yū-sama, are you awake?"

"I am awake."

A grey haired butler came inside the bedroom. "Should I bring your breakfast here?"

"No need Gusto-san, I'll eat downstair." he said while getting up from the bed. "What time are we going today?" 

"The car is ready, we can go at nine."

"Thank you, can you please help me bring these?" he asked while pointing at the luggage. "Oh right, Otō-san haven't told me where I'm staying for tonight."

The butler raised his eyebrows in confusion. "Yūsuke-sama haven't told Yū-sama?"

"Eh? No?" Amanogi replied back with even more confused face. The man only fixed his glasses without saying anything, then excused himself from the room to prepare the breakfast.

'Weird..'

"Yū-sama, please wake up."

Amanogi groaned a bit and turned his gaze to the window car. "Oh, we've arrived?" he said while putting on padding coat, just in case because it was a bit chilly outside.

Luckily, the road to Akita wasn't packed, so he could arrive earlier than expected. "I still have time until afternoon here, right?"

"Yes, we scheduled the flight to Kyoto in 5 pm."

The butler glanced at his watch, "It's twelve right now, we have four more hours here."

"Alright! I got enough time for my milk tea festival hehe." he giggled while walking towards the school gate. "Woah, Yōsen High is quite something."

Following the procedure, he went to the principal office first, then got a tour around the school. "We have marching band here. Maybe Amanogi-san is interested in joining it?"

Forcing a smile, Amanogi politely denied. 'Violin isn't even in the marching band! You should've told me to join your orchestra!' he thought inwardly with twitching mouth.

"And right there is the gymnasium. Unfortunately today the basketball team isn't practising, so we can only watch the volley team instead."

'Eh? Then Atsu isn't here?' he thought while looking around the gym.

"Are you looking for someone, Amanogi-san?" asked the teacher with curious face.

"A-Ah, no, I thought I could meet an old friend from basketball team."

"You know one of our player? Who is it, maybe I can call them for you?"

Amanogi quickly shook his head. "There's no need! I'll just call them--"

"--as I said, here he is, Atsushi."

Hearing the familiar voice, Amanogi turned around and met eyes with Himuro. "Good afternoon, Himuro-kun." He turned to Murasakibara and smiled, "You too, Atsu."

"So I'm second to Muro-chin? Yū-chin don't like me anymore.." Murasakibara said while sulking and munching on his snacks.

"Of course it's not like that, but because I arrived here first so he greeted me before you."
