"..why did you close your eyes?"

"Eh?"

Amanogi slowly opened his eyes with confused stare, meeting eyes with Akashi and his evil grin.

"Here." The red haired man said while caressing Amanogi's lips. "There was a flower petal just now."

"..Oh."

Akashi straightened his back and helped Amanogi to gain his balance. "What were you thinking just now, Yū?"

The silver haired man blushed madly and looked away, unconsciously rubbing his lips with lingering heat from Akashi's finger.

"N-Nothing!" he murmured lightly, making Akashi chuckled. The red haired man silently clenched his fist behind his back, 'I almost lost control.' he thought with a sigh.

Of course, there wasn't any actual petals falling onto Amanogi's lips. Let alone a flower, he only planted bamboos in the garden. There's no way a flower could get in. Luckily, Amanogi was too preoccupied by his flustered state that he didn't notice a simple thing like that.

"Is there something in that room?"

The red haired man flinched a little, but quickly regained his composure and smiled. "Nothing, I haven't tidied up the room so there might be mice loitering." He shut the door which was opened a bit because of the scene earlier. "Do you still want to look around?"

"I do." Amanogi walked out from the cottage. "Did you move the pond from the front yard here?" He asked while pointing at a fish pond in front of the house.

"Yes." Akashi answered while crouching down. "Do you remember those turtles?"

"Eh?" Amanogi scooted closer to Akashi and crouched down. "Are those.."

"The one we bought back then." Akashi softly said, his gaze laid gently on the man on his side.

Amanogi lightly chuckled, "We were heavily reprimanded after we sneaked out to the festival just to buy those turtles! Thank God they were still alive.."

Akashi was about to tell him the truth behind the turtles, but seeing Amanogi's happy face while feeding them made him held back.

"They said turtles symbolized long life..I hope we can stay healthy untill we're old, Sei."

The red haired man blinked lightly at the man, "I hope so." He got up and peeked on his phone, "It's getting late, let's go back, Yū."

"Alright."

They walked back with Amanogi quietly humming a song.

"Is that the piece for your competition?"

"Uhuh."

"You can use the music room to practise. Don't forget your appointment tomorrow in 8 a.m."

Amanogi raised his eyebrows lightly, "How did you know?" He squinted his eyes at the taller man. "Are you the one taking me on tour tomorrow?"

Akashi only smiled. "I know everything about you. Unfortunately no, I have a basketball meeting with the coach so I can't accompany you."

"Hoo.."

Somehow Amanogi couldn't help but to feel a bit dejected at the thought.

"I'll make time to take you around our club." Akashi said with a hint of teasing.

"No need, I don't need you to guide me!"

"Sure." The red haired man replied while smiling slightly, making Amanogi a bit annoyed looking at his smug face. "But I can assure you to have a nice trip tomorrow."
