Akashi sighed and shook his head at the noise, he turned and made sure Amanogi was still asleep.
"His fever has gone down nanodayo."
"Luckily, Yū-kun looks better too this morning."
"When are we going to wake him up? I'm hungry~"
"Be patient, Murasakibara. We're waiting for Rena-san to call the third string players."
"Can't we just celebrate it ourselves? They take so long to walk here!" Aomine grunted as he watched the door anxiously.
"Well, they asked me to celebrate Yū's birthday together. I think he's going to be happier the merrier." Akashi replied while looking at the decorations in the room. "Ah, here they come."
"Sorry for being late!"
"Sshhh! Don't be so loud!"
"Ngh?"
They stilled as they heard Amanogi whined, the boy blinked his eyes and sat slowly.
"Eh? Why are you guys here--"
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMANOGI/-CHIN/-CCHI/YŪ/-KUN!"
Amanogi jolted in shock, but then he laughed as he looked around the room which was filled with balloons and confetti. He took a strand of confetti on his hair, "I never thought you guys knew about this." then he turned towards Momoi and Akashi who smiled at him. "Thanks to you two."
"Amanogi-kun, please blow the candles." Rena said while carrying a small brownies with white icing on top. He grimaced a bit at the shape, she must have made it herself. He clapped his hands, making a wish, then blew the candles.
"Amanogi-cchi! Open your presents ssu!"
The silver haired boy's eyes brightened up at the sight of colorful wrapped boxes. "Is this, are they--"
"It's your presents Nogi-chin, but here's mine~" Murasakibara replied while giving him two limited edition sakura milk tea flavour.
"Thank you Atsu!"
"Hora hora, look at my gift ssu!"
Amanogi eyed the presents and opened them one by one. He chuckled when he saw the third string members gave him various snacks--they bought it just now because they didn't know today was his birthday.
"Let's go to the beach ssu! Come on Amanogi-cchi, we're going to celebrate your birthday at the beach!"
"He's still not fully recovered, nanodayo."
"He needs more time, so I think playing at the beach is quite--"
"It's okay, Shin, Sei. Let's go, I'm just going to sit and watch."
"Ughh you're such an angel Amanogi-kun!" Momoi said while rubbing her cheeks on Amanogi.
"Yosha! Let's build a sand castle!"
"Aomine-kun, you're just going to destroy it."
"Tetsu..you don't need to be so honest.."
Amanogi sighed with a smile, watching the boys walking out of the room towards the beach. He changed into short pants and plain t-shirt.
"You need to wear a jacket, Yū." Akashi said while putting a jacket on the boy, basically wrapping him with thick jacket.
"Sei, I'm going to the beach, not to North Pole--"
