He didn't change that much--Akashi, although his hair looked longer and he's surely taller than a year ago. Amanogi felt a sense of nostalgia overwhelming him, but the cold stare reminded him for what happened before. The Akashi standing right now wasn't the same Akashi he knew.
"Well then I'll get going, we're done for the day."
"Huh?!" Aomine protested, "Akashi don't give me that! You made us come here just for that?!"
Looking at Akashi's demeanor, he truly would gather up people just to ask them for simple things.
"Actually I wanted to check one thing. But looking at everyone's faces made me realize that it's not necessary." Akashi looked up and smirked, "Since it seems like no one has forgotten our oath back then."
'Oath? Shin never told me about this!' Amanogi thought while frowning.
He only watched as the red haired man walked away, leaving the rest of GoM members who started to scatter too. Watching all six of them gathered in one place like this making him felt a sense of belonging, but again, the past memories came haunting him. Amanogi was reminded by the fact that they're the one responsible for making him closing his heart towards people.
"What are you doing, Midorima-kun?" Kuroko asked as he saw the green haired man looking around. "Are you possibly looking for--"
Midorima fixed his glasses and nodded.
"Huh? What are you talking about?" Aomine butted in while scratching his ears.
'Baka Shin!'
"We're talking about how we will beat you in the match!" Kagami replied while smirking.
'Nice save Gaga! I'll make sure to praise you later!'
The navy haired man only snorted and finally left the place. After he felt it was safe to come out, Amanogi walked sneakily behind Midorima.
"Shin, you almost made me got caught." he said while sneering at the green haired man.
"W-Well I'm sorry nanodayo."
Amanogi only chuckled at Midorima's apologetic face. He turned to see the back of the members--Kise, Murasakibara, Aomine, and Akashi--with sullen face.
"Yū-kun, we're going to win this match."
The black haired man turned to Kuroko while smiling slightly, "I know you will, win it for me, Tetsu."

"It's time."
Riko smiled proudly at the back of the members, "They're quite reliable now, aren't they, Amanogi-kun?"
The black haired man snorted, "Yeah." he replied while watching Aomine who seemed to acknowledge Kagami's growth. Of course, the navy haired man also had the same eyes as him when it comes to judging people's strengths. Then Aomine bumped into Kuroko. At the same time, Amanogi could feel Kuroko's emotion through his back alone, giving him mixed feelings.
"This time, we definitely won't lose."
"Nice words, Tetsu." Amanogi murmured as he watched him proudly. He gasped as he met eyes with Aomine, but thankfully the man quickly averted his gaze. 'It feels like my life span shortened for ten years.'
After that he focused on the match. Amanogi gritted his teeth as Tōō managed to take the first score.
"But it's fine, after all--" He grinned at Kuroko who was making his stance, "--our Tetsu has evolved."
