Amanogi gulped, he quickly looked down and went still. Aomine clicked his tongue as he eyed the man in front of him. "Not even sorry? Are you mute or something?"
'Deg'
The black haired man didn't say anything, he held back his voice as he's afraid to be discovered. Luckily, Aomine quickly walked pass him as he continued stretching. Amanogi finally let out his breath, his legs gave out and he leaned on the nearest wall for support.
"Daiki..he changed so much.." he mumbled with bitter smile, frowning while trying to hold his tears. The words stabbed him so deep, it hurt. At one side, he's grateful that Aomine didn't seem to notice him, but the way the man acted like he's such a nuisance hurt.
"Yū-kun?"
"Y-Yeah?" Amanogi quickly put up fake smile as he turned to Kuroko, who suddenly stood behind him. Kuroko eyed him with silent stare, "Did you get the drink for Kagami-kun?"
"A-Ah here, how much time left before the match?"
"Around five minutes."
Amanogi nodded and hummed, the air between them felt tense. He knew Kuroko saw a glimps of Aomine's shadow, or at least saw him when the man walked on the hall.
"Tetsu--" "Yū-kun--"
They both stared at each other, then laughed lightly. "You first." Amanogi said again as they arrived in front of the changing room.
"If we--when we win, will you meet him again?"
The 'him' mentioned here was Aomine Daiki.
"..probably..I won't if he don't change.." He opened the door and smiled, "But still, you have to win okay? For you yourself, Seirin, and me."
Kuroko nodded and knitted his eyebrows, "I promise."

"Tōō win the match!"
Amanogi clenched his teeth as he saw the score difference, it was an overwhelming defeat, with Kagami benched, the last score was 112-55. He wasn't even capable of lifting his head and looked at the court, he didn't want to see the crestfallen look on his players' faces. Even with their dedication and spirit, it wasn't good enough to go against Aomine and his team.
He braced himself and looked away, calming down his mind while facing the wall.
"Yū-cchi?" Kise asked softly as he saw the man, looking far worse than the players on the court. Amanogi cleared his throat and turned, "How come you still found me out in this disguise, Ryō?"
Kise knitted his eyebrows as he saw the empty look on the man's eyes. "Of course ssu! I'm the king of disguise myself, so I can detect anyone with fake wig! But Yū-cchi, why didn't you tell us that you're here too ssu?"
Midorima snorted, "And to think that you stay silent when we're this close, nanodayo."
"Sorry sorry, I'm not in the mood to talk.."
"Yū-cchi.." Kise looked concerned as Amanogi looked like about to burst into tears. Midorima sighed and gently passed over a bottle of milk tea. "Here, y-your lucky item for today nanodayo."
Amanogi eyed the bottle and giggled, "Did you buy it for me although you're not sure we would meet?"
"I know you will be here nanodayo." Midorima mumbled, then he patted the man's head. "Don't cry nanodayo, they won't like it when they saw your red eyes."
"Midorima-cchi that's too mean ssu!" Kise complained and quickly rubbed Amanogi's back like he's calming down a child. "Don't mind him Yū-cchi, you can cry all you want."
