1. Ezra ran out of the Ghost, excited to be back on Lothal. The crew had just finished a mission, and had finally come back. Ezra smiled as a bunch of loth-cats came running up to him, and he crouched to pet them.

From the entrance of the Ghost, Kanan stood, watching the blue-haired boy run around with a smile. Ezra didn't exactly have a normal life, but then again, who did, now that the Empire was in control?

"Hey, love," Hera said. Kanan turned to her with a small smile, having felt her presence when she walked up. "What are you doing?"

Kanan turned back to watch Ezra and said, "I'm watching the kid run around and act like a fool with a bunch of loth-cats following him around." Hera chuckled softly and put an arm around Kanan's shoulder.

She sighed, "Well, at least he gets to visit his home planet every once in a while." Kanan nodded in agreement. He felt Zeb and Sabine's presence join them and waited for them to break the peaceful moment.

Sure enough, Zeb grumbled, "Kanan, we need to go get more supplies. We're running low."

"Maybe you could go get me another meiloorun while you're at it?" Hera suggested, a sly smile on her face.

"Only if we get to steal a TIE fighter again."

Both Kanan and Hera shouted, "NO!" Zeb backed up from the volume of their shout, and Sabine laughed. The noise got Ezra's attention and the boy walked over with a loth-cat sitting on his head.

"Um, Ezra, you've got something up there," Sabine said, pointing to the animal. Ezra chuckled and pulled the loth-cat off his head and thrust it towards the girl, who wrinkled her nose.

"Aw, Sabine, don't be like that," Ezra mocked, pretending to be offended. "He just wants to say hi."

Zeb laughed, then yelped as Ezra tossed the loth-cat his way, scrambling backwards as the cat held fast to his head. "Ezra!" Zeb spun around in an attempt to get it off and ended up smacking into a wall, causing Ezra to double over in laughter.

"Alright, that's enough, kids," Kanan decided, plucking off the loth-cat. "C'mon, Ezra, we'll go for a supply run."

Ezra sighed. "Yes, Dad," he mumbled as he walked into the Ghost. Kanan stared at him as he disappeared into the ship. Hera laughed softly and kissed Kanan's cheek.

"I'll make the list," she said, and that was that.

2. "So, you'll go and set up the explosives here, here, and here, Sabine," Ezra told them, pointing. He and Hera had planned this mission together, and were now explaining the plan.

"Oh, cool! I get to light the place up!" Sabine exclaimed. "I call the spot where I can get the best view."

Zeb asked, "What about me? Do I get to beat up the bucketheads?" He had a sling, due to their last mission, which ended up going wrong.

Hera and Ezra glanced at each other, at Zeb, and back to each other. "Well..." Ezra trailed off, sending a frantic look to Hera.

"You're not going," Hera said bluntly, causing Zeb to groan.

"But Hera—"

"Ah ah ah, no buts, Zeb. I don't want to risk you getting even more injured, so suck it up."

"Kanan and I will take care of the stormtroopers," Ezra jumped in, when Zeb slumped back. "I'll be over here, and Dad will need to be right there." He pointed at the areas while everyone stared at him. When he realized that everyone went quiet, Ezra looked up and asked, "What?"
