Chapter 28: Welcome Party

TUMINGKAYAD AKO para isabit ang isang pulang bulaklak na may string sa itaas na bahagi ng pader. I sighed in annoyance, as to when someone held my waist and raise me through the wall I wanted to reach. Agad kong isinabit ang string sa isang pako at humarap sa bumuhat sa'kin.

I smiled and ordered him to put me down which he gladly did. "Finally!" I exhaled in relief. "Now, guys, 'pag tapos na kayo sa mga gawain ninyo, change your outfit into the comfortable clothes you have with a design of flowers on it and let's wait for the Headmaster to come." Ani ko habang nakangiti ng malapad nang inilibot ko ang aking paningin sa paligid.

Different flowers and leaves were hanging on the wall, ceilings, and every corner of the living room in these mansion. Foods and all were all ready for the party we've planned. The welcome party for Maureen because later on, Headmaster will be here and followed by Maureen with her luggages and, I'm excited for she'll live with us in all of her school life.

"Para naman tayong nasa gubat nito," rinig kong reklamo ni James na nakaupo sa hagdanan. Hawak-hawak nito ang isang vacuum at pinaglalaruan.

Napairap ako ng wala sa oras. Magsasalita na sana ako ng maunahan ako ni Oscar na kararating lang mula sa kusina dala-dala ang jar ng green smoothie. "It's Hawaiian Party, James." Tumango ako at sumang-ayon sa sinabi ni Oscar na ikinanguso niya.

Inilibot ko ang aking paningin sa kabuo-an ng silid tanggapan. This is more beautiful than what I expected when it is done. Ganito talaga ang mapapala kung pinag-tutulungan ang isang bagay na maging maganda. I actually planned this kind of party because I remembered the party I once attended when I'm on a mission in the Mortal Realm; in the country named Hawaii.

I was letting Ken caressed my hair when Sofia suddenly said, "Paano kaya kung si Maureen ang nagdisenyo nito ngayon?"

"It will be pretty, of course. Knowing your beautiful friend loves decoration as what you described her." Ella was the who answered while shrugging.

"Agree,"

A voice said, causing our face went paled. Before she could even enter our premises, Ella immediately casted an invisibility spell which is directed to the decorations we made. Ang iba ay nagkanya-kanyang upo sa mga sofa na nakakalat sa lugar at nagkunwaring may ginagawa.

Bumukas ang pinto at iniluwa doon si Maureen na nakasuot lang ng strapless spaghetti and a dolphin shorts. She's only wearing sleeper through walking the hallway with lots of students lurking around along the way here? God, I don't even think Maureen could do that in the attitude she has with herself. She's always wearing a presentable outfit like she's always having a runway fashion show just like what I've watched in the Mortal Realm.

"Bakit narinig namin ang boses mo kahit nasa labas ka pa lang ng mansyon?" Tanong ni Ken na nakakunot noong nakatingin sa kaniya. Tumango din ako dahil 'yon ang ipinagtaka ko.

"Because I used my air to deliver my message for you and I actually just tried it. And when you're all thinking how I do heard Ella's words, it's because I also used again my air awhile ago to hear some conversations." Aniya at ngumiti ng maliit. Papagalitan na sana siya ni Zoe ng magsalita na naman siya. "I know you'll say it's bad but I'm just having fun." She chuckled and shrugged.
