YOU ARE SOMETHING I AM NEVER TIRED OF. JUST HEARING YOUR NAME GIVES ME BUTTERFLIES. AND THE VOICE OF YOUR'S, CAN MAKE MY WHOLE DAY.  JUST BY SEEING YOU, MY HEART SKIP'S A BEAT. NOT TO MENTION THOSE THINGS THAT HAPPEN WHEN YOU HOLD ME IN YOUR ARMS. AND THOSE URGES TO KILL THE PEOPLE WHO TRY TO FLIRT WITH YOU. THE DISTANCE WHICH SHOWS ME ,HOW DIFFICULT IT IS TO BE WITHOUT YOU AND THE FIGHTS WHICH BOND US TOGETHER.

Aaron's P.O.V

We didn’t even realize how time flew. It was amazing—just being with them again, reliving the old days, sharing laughs, and refreshing memories that time couldn’t erase.

I used to tease her about her size all the time back in childhood. She was a bit chubby back then, and I never missed a chance to poke fun at her. But behind all that teasing was affection—deep, unspoken, and constant.

We were like Tom and Jerry. Always bickering. Always fighting. But always caring for one another.

I still remember the day we went to the beach with our families. It was a weekend, and the place was packed. Somehow, Hannah and I got separated from our parents. Panic struck, and instead of thinking straight, we blamed each other. Arguing fiercely—until I tripped, fell, and hit my head.

That moment changed everything. She cried the entire day, blaming herself for not taking care of me. That was Hannah—sensitive and emotional to the core. A heart too pure for this world.

She’s suffered a lot. Bullied at school. Few friends. Constantly pushed to do things she never wanted. Her sister would blame her for everything, and her father would scold her without reason. And Camila Aunt—God, I hate how she always looked down on Hannah, no matter what she did. Still, Hannah somehow found it in her to protect everyone—even her aunt—from Dad’s temper.

I might be arrogant to the world. Ruthless in business. Distant from family. But for Hannah… I want to be someone she deserves. I want to be a man she can count on. A man she can love without fear. I’d change for her. Anything. Everything.

Because she’s mine.

And one day… the world will know her as Mrs. Hannah Aaron Kingston.

"Okay, Camila. We'll take our leave now—it’s getting late," Dad said.

"It’s dinner time! Just stay. Let’s all have dinner together," Aunt insisted, then turned to me and narrowed her eyes. "And you, Aaron…" she glared. "How can you not eat anything since morning? Thank God Hannah told me."

So that’s how she knew?

"Now no one leaves without dinner," Aunt said firmly.

"We really don’t want to trouble you," Mom replied gently. "We’ll just eat at a restaurant."

"Always eating outside isn’t good for your health, and there’s no trouble at all—Hannah’s already cooking, and she cooks wonderfully."

Wow. It’s been so long since I had dinner made by her.

"Mom, I’m really hungry… and honestly too tired to go to a restaurant. Let’s just eat here, please?" I looked at her, hoping she’d agree.

Before she could object, I smiled at Aunt. "We’ll stay. Let’s enjoy the dinner."

We all sat back down, chatting about business and random things. Mia left early—she had a dinner date with her fiancé.

"Hmm, this is delicious, Hannah. You cook better than your mom!" Dad complimented with a genuine smile.

She really is an amazing cook. Her dream was to become a chef and open her own restaurant. But her parents never supported that dream. Still, she never gave up on cooking—it remained her happy place.

My eyes drifted to her, watching her savor every bite of her meal, talking to my parents with that radiant smile. Seeing them get along made me feel… whole.

As she reached for the last piece of cupcake, I quickly snatched it away.

"Don’t eat so much, Hannah. You’ve already gained weight—getting chubbier by the day," I teased.

She narrowed her eyes. "Why do you even care? I wasn’t stealing it from your plate. So give it back!"

Smirking devilishly, I popped it into my mouth.

Hannah's P.O.V

No one—no one—comes between me and my cupcake.

And he had the audacity to call me chubby? That’s it. Time for revenge.

I shot him a look. Watch me now.

"Uncle, wait! I’ll serve you one of the finest wines from Dad’s collection." I poured everyone a glass, saving the best for last—Aaron’s.

Payback time.

While pouring his glass, I "accidentally" spilled wine all over his shirt. Everyone knows how much he loves his clothes. His face said it all—utter horror.

"You! What did you just do?" he yelled, trying to wipe the stain with tissues.

"Are you blind? I accidentally spilled it," I replied sweetly.

"You did that on purpose! Because I called you chubby and ate your cupcake!"

"Wow! Didn’t know you had a brain. Looks like you figured it out," I said with a mock bow.

"I don’t want to talk to a fatty like you!"

"I’m not fat, you jerk!" I shouted.

"You’re not fat—you’re chubby," he laughed, stressing the word.

How dare he—

"Enough!" Dad cut in. "You two are grown-ups, not kindergarteners. Hannah, go help him get changed."

Wait—what?! Help him?

I rolled my eyes. This man called me fat and now I have to play babysitter?

"Hannah!" Dad snapped.

"Huh? What?"

"Show him to the guest room and get him a clean shirt."

I let out a long sigh and turned to him. "Follow—"

Before I could finish, he was already halfway there. Of course. He knows this house better than anyone.

"Just get me a shirt," he said, walking in.

I knocked and walked in—only to stop dead in my tracks.

He was shirtless, leaning against the window, casually talking on the phone.

"Can’t you knock the damn door?" he snapped.

"I did knock, you—" My voice trailed off.

He was still shirtless. My brain short-circuited for a moment.

He cleared his throat and smirked. "Like what you see?"

"You think too highly of yourself," I shot back. "I’ve seen better. And for the record, I’m not chubby. I just have curves in the right places. A child like you wouldn’t understand."

I winked.

"Oh really?" he stepped closer with that wicked smirk. "Let me show you what this child can do."

Not again!

I punched him lightly in the stomach and ran. "That’s for everything you did today!"
