Hannah’s P.O.V

I could hear birds chirping, the gentle crash of waves in the distance… but something felt off. Why does my bed feel so uncomfortable today?

A sharp ray of sunlight hit my face, making it nearly impossible to fall back asleep. Mornings—ugh, I hate them. They always ruin the best part of my dreams, especially when I’m dreaming about him. And just like that, the mood is ruined.

But then, strangely, the sunlight disappeared from my face. I could still feel its warmth on my legs, but my face… it was shaded.

Curious, I slowly opened my eyes—only to be met by a pair of mesmerizing grey eyes.

My breath hitched.

I hesitantly reached out to touch his face, afraid this might just be another dream. Maybe if I moved too much, he’d disappear… like he always does when I wake up.....

“Good morning, sunshine,” Aaron greeted me with that same cheerful smile he always wore

“Good morning, sunshine,” Aaron greeted me with that same cheerful smile he always wore.

Wait… what?

Why is he in my room?

Did we…? No. No, it can’t be. Oh god—

“Argh!” I screamed in panic, only to have his hand quickly cover my mouth.

I yanked his hand away and shouted, “How could you take advantage of a sleeping girl?! What are you doing here?! Did we… did we do anything?!”

He looked at me, clearly annoyed. “As much as I like the idea of that, we didn’t do anything. Because we’re at the beach, genius.”

“What?!” I sat up quickly and looked around. The soft sand beneath me, the sound of waves, and the fresh morning air brought the memories rushing back.

Right… I wasn’t in my room.

“Oh god… I’m so sorry. I thought I was in my bed, and you… you took advantage of me,” I mumbled, guilty and unable to meet his eyes.

He smirked. “How can you forget everything without even being drunk, dumbo?” he teased, flicking his finger lightly against my forehead.

“Argh!” I hissed, rubbing the spot as he chuckled.

A few hours later, we all gathered behind the hotel. The staff handed out couple outfits—matching t-shirts and shorts—for our morning trek.

“Hello everyone,” a cheerful man introduced himself. “I’m Nick, and I’ll be your guide for today’s trek. Please change into your matching outfits and meet me back here in ten minutes.”

With that, we all went off to change, some grumbling, some excited.
