33 : SETTLED

KREIA'S POV

“Ateeee! Please help me!” I jumped on her bed the next morning so I can ask some help for the dinner later at Justin’s house.

To be honest, I don’t really know what to wear. Hinalukay ko na lahat ng damit sa walk in closet ko pero hindi pa rin ako makapili. Hindi ko rin kasi alam kung casual lang or formal dinner talaga ang magaganap mamaya. So I have to be in the middle of casual and formal para safe.

“What the hell, Kreia! Ang aga-aga!” bulalas niya agad sa akin. Paano kasi natutulog pa siya pagpasok ko rito.

“Ate sige na, just this one please. I'm begging you!”

“Oh! Anong nangyari sa pagiging fashionista mo? Aber! Dinner lang ‘yon gaga! Mag dress ka!” asik niya ulit bago takpan ng unan ang mukha.

“Ate! Family dinner kasi ‘yon! I’m gonna meet his whole family at ayoko naman na magmukhang dugyot sa harap nila!”

Pagkatapos ng ilang oras pa na bangayan ay tinulungan niya na rin ako sa wakas. I was sweating bullets while waiting for ate. Hinahalukay niya na lahat ng damit ko at puro reklamo pa ito dahil karamihan daw ay mga pang night outs ang damit ko.

She can’t blame me for I love parties! Madalang na nga lang sa ngayon ang paglalakwatsa ko. Simula kasi noong nakilala ko si Justin unti-unti na rin akong tumitino, well, I guess so.

“Try this on” hinagis niya sa akin ang isang black tube dress na hanggang hita at may slit sa may right side. “Partner it with your black or silver stilettos and you’re done bitch, bye!” she then walks away and slammed the door.

Damn! This is so fine. No wonder why she’s good as me when it comes to this. Pero mas may alam talaga siya kesa sa akin, I admit.

Right after securing my outfit and stuffs for later, I decided to work out on our rooftop since it was still early in the morning. Swear I can’t do some explosive exercises so I tried the light ones.

Kahit nga light exercises lang ay hinihingal din ako agad at pinaninikipan ng dibdib. I find it normal naman kasi ganito talaga tuwing mage-exercise, nakakapagod. Halos isang oras lamang ang itinagal ko sa taas at bumaba na rin pagkatapos.

After eating my brunch, I then rest for a while and took a shower after. I will probably use my time to read books this afternoon or sleep so I have some energy for later. Ngayon pa lang ay kinakabahan na ako para sa mangyayari mamaya!

Will I pass the standard of his family? Papasa kaya ako? Hindi naman to isang pagsusulit pero napanghihinaan ako ng loob. Paano kung yung tipo nila ay katulad noon sa mga tipo ni Jah na pormal na babae? But I am formal too, I can say.

I’m not as bad as before, hindi na ‘ko katulad ng dati na parang walang patutunguhan sa buhay. I’ve change a lot and the only reason is their child, I am confident with that.

“Leanne, Justin is already downstairs hurry up!” ate shouted from the outside.

“Coming!” I answered as I check myself in the mirror. I look so formal and at the same time hot with my fitted black tube. My glam is just light that suited my overall outfit. Now I’m good to go.

Hindi ko maiwasang kabahan habang pababa ng hagdan, ilang beses na rin naman akong nakapunta sakanila pero mas kinakabahan ako ng bongga ngayon. It gives me chills and goosebumps but somehow it excites me a little bit. Like it’s a roller coaster ride for me, geez.

On the other hand, Justin being Justin gave me bouquet of flowers when I got down. How sweet of him, spoiling me with his love and all. He leaned closer to me and gave me a kiss on the cheek.
