Episode 15: Dance Party

Tomorrow came and it was already evening. We were all ready for the event. Lupin and I changed to our formal clothes and head to the ballroom.

Well, everyone's been busy. Blake is already back to her usual self. Or so I'm told.

When we arrived, everyone was there. The event already started without us. Thankfully, we arrived just in time.

Blake smiled and beckoned me to come to the dance floor. Lupin went ahead to the chairs, waiting for us to finish. He helped himself with a cup of water.

Blake and I danced for a while. Her complexion is much better than before. She had her good night's rest which is a good thing.

"Well, I guess you had your rest then?" I said.

Blake smiled. "Thanks to you. I'm sorry about everything Theo." She expressed a worried face afterwards.

"Don't worry about it. Just have some fun for now, you earned it." I said.

She softened up and gently smiled. We were talking and laughing for a bit and then, Sun arrived at the entrance.

"Well then, looks like my partner is here. Thanks Theo." Says Blake.

I nodded. "Anytime."

I turn to face Sun. "Good luck man."

He nodded and smiled. We did a fist bump and changed positions. I went over to the side and sit on an empty chair.

"I told you she would come." Says Yang.

"Mission Accomplished." Says Weiss.

"What do we do now?" Ruby asked them.

"Just have fun." Says Yang.

And then, they dispersed, leaving Ruby behind on her own.

Lupin was with Weiss. They were talking and having some fun. I shifted my head to their direction to see how things are going. I'm glad Lupin is with her. She seems a little lonely on her own.

"So, I thought you went with Neptune." Says Lupin.

"Ah, Lupin. Well you see, he's right there." Weiss pointed towards the direction where Blake, Sun and Neptune were having fun, talking.

"Hmm. And you're here all alone? How about your friends?" He asked her.

"Well, not exactly...alone. Ruby and the others are..." She sighed. "Alright. It's just that, I'm not really that good at making new friends."

Lupin went thoughtful. "I guess I have to accompany you for now." Lupin took a flower and smoothly placed it on her hair.

Weiss was startled for a bit. "Ahh." She gently touched the flower on her hair. "What was that for?" She was waiting for his answer.

Lupin smiled. "There. Perfect. Well, I guess I can see why some call you the snow angel. You look beautiful and cute like an angel."

Weiss smiled for a moment and then, she looked away while blushing. "O-of course."

"And I guess the snow part is your cold personality though." Lupin jokingly said.

Weiss turns her head. "Hey! I'm not that cold!"

And then, both of them laughed.

They're having a great time together. Good for you Lupin. I gently smiled and then, take a sip from my cup of water.

I saw Ruby alone. It seems that Yang was having fun with the others too.

I approached her from behind slowly with the intent to surprise her and then, I whispered behind her.
