An Executor's Will (RWBY x Starcraft)

Episode 2: Beacon Academy

We've already reached our destination. As soon as the door opens, the blonde man vomited in a trash can.

"That was quite a ride! How you feelin' Theo?" Lupin stretched his arms and placed it behind his head.

"I swear I'm gonna get you one of these days Lupin. That was a close one." I said.

"Haha, well then. Let's go!" He chuckled.

We started walking. As we reached the school, we stood in awe.

"Whoa, so cool! It's more awesome when you see it up close." He was looking at the school.

I smiled. "Yeah, it's amazing. Well then, I guess we'll head over to the lobby now."

While we were walking, we saw Ruby being yelled at by a woman who's white as snow.

"Ruby? And that girl....she's a Schnee. Based on her appearance that is." I said as I observed their situation.

"A Schnee huh?" I muttered. Lupin also observed their situation.

And moments later, Ruby sneezed, causing an explosion around the white girl.

"Ah." Lupin looked like he just realized something. "Well, I guess you can say that Ruby....Schneezed?"

I instantly covered my mouth to hold my laughter and looked away. "Pffft!"

"Aha! You laughed! You laughed right!?" He was in front of my face.

I gently pushed him to the side as I faintly smile and shake my head. "Let's just go on."

We arrive at the lobby. There are a lot of students that's for sure.

We observed the whole place. It really is huge.

And then, Professor Ozpin slowly walks towards the microphone. His opening speech is about to start.

"I'll...keep this brief. You traveled here today in search of knowledge. To hone your craft and acquire new skills and when you're finished, you plan to dedicate your life to the protection of the people. But I look amongst you...and all I see is wasted energy. In need of purpose, direction. You assume knowledge will free you of this, but your time of this school will prove that knowledge can only carry you so far. It is up to you, to take the first step."

He finishes his speech and steps aside. Professor Glynda was up next.

"You will gather at the dorm tonight. Tomorrow, your initiation begins. Be ready, you're dismissed." She leaves after finishing her speech.

"Okay?" Says Lupin.

I sigh. "I guess I'm gonna explore the academy. Wanna come with me?"

"Not like I have any other choice." He shrugs and follows.

It was already evening. Most students sleep together in one room for tonight. I'm uncomfortable though since I always sleep alone in a quiet place or in a place with less people.

"Man, I love being around people. Hey, what're you doing?" He asked as he sits down on his futon.

"Reading as usual." I said with my eyes still fixed on the book.

"Man, you really love reading books don't you? You could always make some friends you know?" He said.

"I....don't need to. They'll just show up eventually." I said nonchalantly.

Lupin sighed. And then suddenly, he was staring at me with a grin on his face. He took my book and ran.

"Hey! Give it back!" I stood and chased after him.
