Chapter 5

A/N: In the last chapter I changed the fact that marinette will leave for 5 or 6 years, I changed it to a few years instead, Enjoy.

~ 1 Month and a half later, Marinette's Pov~

I woke up this morning, brushed my teeth, and went downstairs to the kitchen, and made breakfast, after a few minutes of preparing the dining table, Alya came and ate breakfast with me, after we finished breakfast, Alya reminded me about my OB/GYN appointment today which will be at 2:30 pm.
~ At 11:30 am, 3rd Pov ~
"Hey, Alya," Marinette said
"Yes, Mari?" Alya said
"Don't you find it weird that Hawk Moth hasn't attacked Paris since the day I left?" Marinette asked
"Yeah, it's weird, but who knows, maybe he gave up?" Alya said
"Maybe?" Marinette said
After that, they kept talking for an hour about the baby and Alya suggested to tell her parents about her pregnancy.
"I think I will tell them after our appointment, Alya, and sent them some of the ultrasound pictures," Marinette said nervously
"I agree because they'll have to know later or sooner," Alya said
"Yes but now we have to go to prepare some lunch," Marinette said smiling
"Yes let go," Alya said
After preparing Lunch, Alya and marinette talked about multiple things, and then marinette went to her room and started sketching and talking to Tikki.
~ 2:15 pm, Marinette Pov ~

I just got ready for my appointment and went downstairs, I met Alya by the door, and we both went and got in the car, Alya drove to the hospital and I went inside, I went to the front desk and sat on the chairs till a nurse calls my name.
After a few minutes of waiting, a nurse came out and called my name, I followed her to the room, and then after a while of waiting, Doctor. Eva entered the room.
"Hello Marinette Dupain Cheng," said Doctor Eva
"Hello Doctor," I said
"Like last time, can you go and lay down over there?" she said
"Yes of course," I said and then went and did as she told me.
"Can you lift your shirt, please?" she said
I did as she told me and then she put some gel on my stomach and then moved the transducer around and then the baby appeared on the screen.
"Oh Marinette dupain cheng, I never noticed this before but congratulations you're having twins," she said
"A-Are you s-sure?" I asked
"Yes I am and here they are," she said and pointed to the two babies on the screen.
"Would you like to hear the heartbeat?" she asked
"Yes please," I said
And that was when I heard the most beautiful sound in my life.
"Would you like to have the ultrasound pictures?" she asked
"Yes please," I said
After that, I took the cloth doctor Eva gave me and wiped the gel off my stomach, I talked to the doctor about some things and she told me that both babies are healthy, Alya was waiting outside in the car and that when an idea came to me about how to tell her about the twins, I said my goodbye to the doctor and went to the front desk, I scheduled an appointment after a month and a half and went outside towards the car.
We arrived home and I went and made some tea for Alya and myself and went to the living room where Alya was scrolling through her phone.
"How is the baby?" Alya asked
"Why don't you see yourself," I said as I handed her the ultrasound pictures
She took the pictures after drinking her tea and looked at them
"OMG MARI, YOU'RE HAVING TWINS!" Alya said excitedly
"Yes I am," I said happily
After that, we talked for 30 minutes about our plans for the baby.
"Alya, I'm going to call my parents now and tell them about my pregnancy," I said nervously
"Ok marinette but I think it's better if you facetime them," Alya said
"Yea I think so," I said
I called my parents on face time and after a minute, saving answered
"Hello Marinette," said sabine
"H-Hello mom, can you please call dad, I have something important to tell both of you," I said nervously
"Of course sweetie," sabine said, after a few minutes tom came
"Hello Marinette," said Tom
"Hello dad," I said nervously
"What is the important news you had to tell us sweetie?" asked Sabine
"U-Um there is a reason why I left Paris besides college," I said
"What is it pumpkin?" asked tom
"I-I'm.........pregnant," I said crying
"Um.....Uh...we are disappointed with you marinette, but why didn't you tell us before?" said Sabine
"I was scared," I said calming down a bit while Alya is rubbing my back
"How long are you?" asked Sabine
"I'm 2 months and a half, I had an appointment today and I found out I'm having twins and they're both healthy," I said
"Who is the father?" asked tom after calming down
"I-I can't tell you," I said
"What do you mean that you can't tell us?" said tom
"H-He doesn't know about the baby and I don't want to tell anyone who he is," I said
" it's ok marinette, you can tell us whenever you're ready, but you have to come to Paris after giving birth," said sabine
"Ok mom, I'll come to Paris after birth by a month and stay there for a bit, because it would be 2 weeks before the summer break of college," I said
"Ok bye sweetheart, see you soon, we have to go back to the bakery, and don't forget to send us the ultrasound pictures," sabine
Said
"Of course maman, bye," I said
I sent the ultrasound pictures and started talking to Alya about how it went and it's better than expected.
