Bella and Carlisle Cullen

How dare he hurt My Mate!

Carlisle POV

As I begin to open the box, I feel my self growing more and more nervous. I pull her up from the couch and grabher hand. I place the box in her hand. "This is for you my love, I hope you like it." I say as I watche her slowly lift the lid of the box. It is a turquoise heart on a silver chain. She looks at me in awe and rather puzzled. "What is this for?" she asks looking at me extremely puzzled. "I brought it as a gift for you my love, do you not like it?" I say looking kind of sad. "Ooh, no Carlisle I love it, would you put it on for me?" she says. "Of course love." I say as I gets up removing the necklace from its box and placeing it around her neck. 

She looks down at it and smiles as I kiss her cheek. She pulls me into her arms as she does I feel a calm wave washing over me. Alice bolts down the stairs followed by Jasper. She has venomous tears in her eyes. "What is it Alice?" I ask as I let Bella go. "Edward, he is on his way home. He's leaving. He wants to get rid of Bella and be with his true mate. Victoria." she says looking at Bella with an apologetic look. "He What!!!!" Bella screams as she walk to the door. As she reaches the door he arrives. 

"Bella, I have something to tell you. In private." he says calmly stairing at her. He turns and walks to the edge of the river. I feel myself being overcome with rage as Jasper tries desperately to calm me down. I can hear Bella yelling at him. She tells hasn't yet told him about her and I. I hear her go quiet as he says something I can't completely make out but Alice screams. "Carlisle!! He is going to ki...." Im gone before she can finish. I arrive to Bella loosing consciousness as Edward is biting her wrist. I grab him by the throat and throw him into a near by tree.

He begins to run away still yelling at me. He now knows about Bella and I, purely from my reaction to him and my being over protective of her in this case.  I turn to see My Bella laying motionless on the ground. Her heart is beating fast. I move her carefully back to her bed. The change has got to be to far to change. Besides she doesn't have the blood to live otherwise. As we reach her room, Charlie arrives. Bella doesn't know this but Charlie is part vampire, so he knows about vampires. I have also told him about Bella and I being mates. He wasn't too happy about it at first but he is a lot more accepting now he and Esme have discovered they are mates. 

Bella's eyes begin to flutter. I grab her free hand and first she sees Charlie and then she turns to see me. Her eyes flutter open more and more. Her eyes, their different even more beautiful than before.
