Do I like the Dr?

Bella POV

As I stand in the centre of the room, I feel a cold pair of hands wrap themselves around my waist. I come out of my daydream to see Edward smiling at me. I look around to see Rosalie storm out of the room followed by Emmett. I hear Alice giggling then her eyes go glaze over. "What is wrong with her?" I ask my voice full of concern. Her eyes turn back to their usual gold and she is first to answer me " I have visions, as in I can see the future." She replies whilst glancing at Carlisle. 

Edward is staring at her, I assume trying to read her thoughts. He looks over at me and he smiles. I wonder if she saw him and I together in the future? I feel his grip on me loosen as he walks over to Alice and whispers something low enough so that I don't hear. 'Bella would you like a tour of the house?" Alice asks bouncing over giving me no choice. She grabs hold of me and we start to walk up the stairs, when I turn around to see Edward running out the door and as I start to turn back around I slip. Everything goes black. 

Carlisle POV

Today is the day Edward is bringing his new girlfriend Bella home to meet us all. For someone as old as I am I should not feel so nervous. That's when I feel my gorgeous wife's arms wrap around me as she pulls herself closer to me. I gently lift her face up to mine and I kiss her. She pulls away as she curls into my chest. We can hear Edward pulling up into the driveway but still we don't move. I feel a strange pull coming from somewhere I assume that my mate must be coming into town. Esme and I have always known we are not mates yet still choose to love each other. 

Alice comes running into our room, "they're here!" she screams as she practically knocks the door from it's hinges. Ever since her vision the other day she has been even more bubbly than usually and that is something noone wants because she is bubbly enough. As Emse and I get up to follow her down the stairs the pull gets stronger. 

As I reach the bottom of the stairs I lock eyes with the most gorgeous girl I have ever seen. Her chocolate brown hair flows perfectly down her shoulders, her deep brown eyes are locked onto mine. The next thing I know Edward is wrapping his hands around her waist. I feel myself struggling to stay in control. The next five minutes are a blurr to me until I realise that everyone is looking at Edward running out the door. I can tell he is going to hunt. Emse taps my shoulder and as I turn to her I see my beautiful mate turn around on the steps and she falls. I freeze, if I rush they will know, if I don't help she could be hurt. Before I can move Alice has her in her arms and Edward is running back through the door, as he reaches for her hand I can feel myself loosing control. Emse grabs my hand, I can tell she has realised, I feel a sense of calm and turn to see Jasper, well he knows. I turn around and see she has blacked out, I have no choice to help after all I am a doctor, it's my job and she is my mate.
