1. Be positive. Having a brand-new attitude can change your whole lifestyle. Also, don't compare yourself with other people, you are so unique and different.

2. Laugh. Engage in funny talks with your friends. When you're feeling down, maybe just don't study, relax and turn on a comedy or sitcom to watch.

3. Listen to music. Music can calm you down. Make sure you don't listen to depressing songs but listen to happy and upbeat music!

4. Get a pet. I have a poodle and his name is Teddy. Even if I am really burned out after school, seeing him at home makes me feel happy again.

5. Exercise. Join a sports team and get to know more wonderful people. People in my swim team are so friendly and sociable. Or maybe try yoga? Yoga can help you stretch and relax after a busy day.

6. Meditation. Meditation would calm all of your stress and anxiety in your brain, instead, focus on your breathing and your surroundings.

7. Practice gratitude. After each day, reflect. What are you thankful for today? Who are the people that make you feel happy?
