"Your assignment is the only thing you should focus on. This isn't vacation for you. Your target is Ikki Igarashi," My boss, Klaus Northern, says, turning to a screen with pictures on it.
My eyes flicker over to the screen and I nod. "Understood."
Klaus Northern runs an organization formed by the United States Government. The name of the organization is Haze Innovative Connections, also known as HIC. It was formed long ago for top secret projects that have to do with foreign governments who need our aide. Also, there a rumors of hidden projects that will never be known to the project. All that is unfounded as I have never seen any hidden projects that no one knows about yet besides our training programs.
"There is his Rider form there," Klaus says as the screen shows the young man transforming into his Kamen Rider form. "He is Revi, the demon is Vice."
"Sir, he looks like a tub of Cotton Candy," I state, taking in the man's pink and blue suit. Absolutely ugly. I do not understand who would want to look like that.
"No need to point out the obvious. Your objective is to keep an eye on him and figure out anything else you can about the situation. You remember your briefing? Also, you'll be staying with one of other members, Mahiru Sato. She's similar to you when it comes to the job you do for us. She's also analyzing Kamen Rider related situations."
"Understood, boss."
"You will be meeting with one of our greatest employees in that branch, George Karizaki," he tells me, informing me of what I'll be doing once there. "You will receive his help when it comes to your system for transforming. Yours doesn't involve what the others do."
"The transformation system I have isn't the same?" So, the technology must run on different sources.
"Yours runs off a scanning device built into the belt. The item it scans is already inside the belt. The button on the side makes you transform," he explains. "It makes the item, which is a little chip, go over the scanner. The scanner will transform you after sending the data to our servers for it. It runs on its own system and it is something you don't need to even worry about."
"Got it, Captain."
"Once there, you need to emote more. I know you're capable of showing what you've been taught."
"Emote more?" Is he calling me lifeless?
Klaus nods his head, staring at me with slight concern. "Yes, you need to emote a bit more, Maya. If you don't emote properly, you will scare the target off without a doubt. You've been waiting for this moment, haven't you?"
