WARNING: Remus

"Oh, Jan!" Remus called, closing the door to their apartment.

"Mhm?" Janus asked, not looking up from his computer.

"Jan!" Remus repeated. "Jan! Jan, Jan, Jan, Jan, Jan, Jan, Jan, Jan, Jan, Jan, Jan-"

Janus sighed. "Yes, Rem?" They asked, looking up. Remus grinned and bounced over to Janus. He pressed a kiss to Janus' lips, cupping his face and grinning into the kiss. Janus smiled and kissed back, one of their hands at the back of Remus' head.

Remus pulled back, giggling and blushing and leaving Janus a little dazed. Janus laughed a little, trying to pull himself together.

"What was that for?" They asked. Remus shrugged.

"Because I love you." Remus said. Janus raised an eyebrow.

"Rem, that's sweet but you have that look on your face." Janus said. He sighed. "What did you impulse buy?"

"Nothing." Remus lied unconvincingly. Janus raised an eyebrow again and crossed their arms.

"Really?" He asked. "Then what's in the bag?"

"Nothing." Remus lied again, dragging the word out. Janus sighed. "Aw, c'mon, don't look at me like that."

"Like what?" Janus asked, turning back to his computer.

"Like you're my dad instead of my daddy." Remus said.

"Remus!" Janus stared at Remus, their face bright red. Remus laughed.

"I got you, I got you!" He said, capering wildly on the spot. Janus hid his face in his hands and groaned.

"Yeah, fine, whatever." They said, brushing their fringe to the side. "Now, what did you buy on impulse?"

Remus giggled and threw a teddy bear at Janus' face. Janus jumped and fumbled to catch the toy.

"Rem, why did you get me an angry toy snake?" Janus asked. Remus giggled.

"Because it reminds me of you." He said. Janus blinked.

"I remind you of an angry snake?" He asked.

"No!" Remus protested. He grabbed the snake. "There's a zip here somewhere..." He muttered. There was a zip down the side of the snake's body and when it was unzipped, Remus turned the toy inside-out. Now, it was still a stuffed snake but a happy one.

"There, see?" Remus asked, giving the snake back to Janus. Janus blinked.

"I still don't understand." He said.

"Well, you seem all angry and mean when people first meet you," Remus explained, "but then, if you take time to get to know you, you turn out to be really kind and funny and caring and soft." Remus grinned. "And snakes are your favourite animal because there's so many different types of them and you love to talk about them for hours and you get all excited and cute when you talk about snakes so I thought an angry-to-happy snake would be the perfect soft toy for you."

Janus looked down, smiling. "Um, thanks, Rem." They said. "Didn't think you paid so much attention."

"Of course I pay attention." Remus said. "You're my boyfriend!"

I liked this. Yay.
Bye,
Blaize
