I've been meaning to write this for ages but just... kept forgetting it
WARNING: Remus being drunkJanus sighed as he heard Remus' weak giggle.
"I was gone for five seconds." He thought. "What did that idiot do now?"
"Jan!" Remus yelled excitedly, somehow managing to be louder than a whole tavern. "Jan! Jan, over here!"
Janus sighed and pulled his hood up over his head. Didn't need more reason for people to stare at him.
"Remus, what did you do?" Janus asked, sitting down quickly. Remus giggled again and shrugged. "You don't remember?"
Remus grinned and nodded. Janus rolled his eyes.
"What is this, the silent treatment?" He asked. Remus frowned and pulled on Janus' hood.
"Why this?" He asked. He pulled Janus' hood down. "You're pretty!" Remus put a hand on Janus' cheek and grinned at him. "See? Pretty!"
Janus shook his head and pushed Remus' hand away. "How much have you had to drink?"
Remus shrugged. "I don't remember. Wasn't that much, though. Promise."
"Yeah but was it strong?"
Remus giggled and shrugged again. Janus sighed.
"I'll take that as a yes. Elves and all their magic, you're a disaster." He said. Remus giggled.
"Yeah but I'm you're disaster." Remus said, leaning against Janus' shoulder. Janus froze as he felt Remus' breath on his neck. He shook his head to clear it of all the thoughts that had sprung up and pushed Remus away.
"Rem-" Janus took a breath. "Remus, can you get us out of here?"
"Oh, wanna go somewhere private, huh?" Remus asked, his tone suggestive. Janus hated how that made him blush.
"Will that get us out of here?" He asked. Remus snickered and nodded. "Then yes. Anywhere. Graves, even the forest'll do."
Remus grabbed Janus' hand. "Fine, say no more." He closed his eyes and both him and Janus left the tavern with a puff of smoke.
Janus took a breath of the cool forest air. He hadn't realised how stuffy the tavern was.
Janus barely had time to register his surroundings when a pair of lips crashed onto his own. He felt someone grin into the kiss and recognised the grin as Remus'. He pushed Remus away.
"What the fuck, Rem?!" He asked, wiping his lips. Remus looked at him with mingled confusion and hurt.
"What? I thought you wanted to go somewhere more private?" Remus said and there was more hurt in his voice than confusion.
"Yeah, to get you away from the drink, not to kiss you!" Janus covered his face with both hands.
"You're disgusting, Janus." He thought. "Blushing like this when Remus is in no right mind-"
"I thought you liked me." Remus asked and the confusion had left his face.
"Rem, I do." Janus said. "I like you a whole lot and that makes this even worse. Cause I've dreamt and wished about a moment when I could kiss you."
"Then what's the problem?" Remus asked. "I want you, you want me, simple as." He grinned and leaned forward to kiss Janus again. Janus held him at arm's length by his shoulders.
"No, it's not. Cause one of us is sober," Janus gestured to himself and then to Remus, "and the other's not. You're probably not gonna remember any of this tomorrow."
