(A/N: I am very unsure about the chapter name! If you guys have any suggestions, recommend them if you want!)

Charlotte was agitated. She and Maverick were walking across the street from the bar. They were heading towards Maverick's motorcycle. She thought that her new best friend was falling for Maverick, who was already taken. Charlotte didn't want her boyfriend to fall for another girl... she didn't want to lose that loving feeling.
(I h8 life)

"What do I do... WHAT can I DO with her?" Maverick kept mumbling to himself. He looked over to Charlie, who still had an agitated look on her face. He tried not to talk to her, but she just looked too mad.

"Charlotte, are you sure you're fine?" Maverick asked. Charlotte scowled.

"Lieutenant, I think you getting into Madison isn't right," she said. "It's not cool to be falling in love with another girl and cheating on your current. I just—I just think she's not right for you."

Maverick didn't say anything back. He knew that Madison wasn't the right girl. He didn't even feel like he was falling in love with her! But there was something about Madison. What if she's the right girl for him?

"Charlie, look," Maverick said slowly. "I don't have feelings for Madison. It's just... there's something about her..."

"Lieutenant, this isn't funny," said Charlotte. "You know it's not good to cheat on people. And our wedding is not far from today. Falling in love with another girl when you're already engaged to someone isn't right!"

"I'm NOT cheating on you!" Maverick confessed. "It's just—feelings! Cheating and having feelings on somebody are two whole different things!"

"Says the man who sings to nearly every hot girl he sees!" Charlotte scowled yet again. She really had a temper. She really wanted Madison to not be Maverick's girlfriend.

"I'm going to ask you a simple question," she said. "Who do you love more, me or Madison?"

Maverick answered right away. "Well, you of course!" He said cheerfully. "I'm not even in love with Madison!"

"And who is the most beautiful girl in the whole entire world, including all of California?"

"You, obviously!"

"Great, wanted to make sure." Charlotte finished off.
(Wow what a vain bit—)

To Maverick, Charlotte probably was right when she said she's the most beautiful girl. She's definitely pretty. Her white skin was smooth all over, and it seemed shiny. When she yawned, her teeth shown. Her ghost-white teeth were very clean; there wasn't a single tooth that wasn't dirty or not white. And her lips... they were dangerously red. Her lipstick made her lips blood red... they were very red... they made her even more beautiful. And her hair... that was Maverick's favorite part of her. Her blonde hair was a little wavy. It was very short, and it draped down to the nape of her neck. It bounced around whenever she moved her head. And her eyes... they were attractive woman's eyes. Charlotte's eyes were blue and sparkled nonstop. And her eyelashes beat down like Bambi eyelashes. Charlotte was definitely the most beautiful girl in the world, and Maverick had to realize that.

But what about Madison? Did she look like crap compared to Charlotte? What should he do?

"Lieutenant, you walked passed your motorcycle."

Maverick looked over and realized that he walked five parking spots away from his motorcycle. He scoffed and walked back to where it was. Charlotte followed him.

Maverick was just about to hop on until he looked over and saw a gray SUV nearby in the parking lot. He knew who was in the car. And he wanted to talk to him.
