Day at the Beach

A week after officiating their relationship, it's almost 4 months until Nationals, the biggest and greatest dance competition of all America. Paige and Sky immediately starts their new dance routine for Nationals. 

"Now, it's almost Nationals and we only have 4 months to practice. Unlike Regionals, you have to perform 3 dance performances, a solo, a duet and a group.", Sky replied. "Three?!", Paige asked. 

"Yes, I've spoken to Jasper and Emma and they both agree to help. I'll teach you our duet, while Jasper will teach you the solo, and Emma will teach you the group dance. Your group dance is a group of three and Jessica and Fay will be in your group dance for Nationals.", Sky replied. 

"Ok, I rather dance in a group with my friends.", Paige smiled. "Good. Ok, for our duet performance, we'll be dancing the Foxtrot, to Time After Time by Sam Smith, and of course we'll be dressed as the two main characters from the Broadway musical, Strictly Ballroom.", Sky replied. 

"I heard of the musical, there's even a movie about it too.", Paige replied. "Yes, for inspiration, you have to watch the movie, so you know what it's like for the characters when they dance.", Sky replied, giving Paige a copy of the movie of Strictly Ballroom. "Come on, let's start learning.", Sky replied, as he takes Paige in his arms and start dancing with her. 

Jasper then goes to teach Paige her solo performance for Nationals. "For your solo performance, you'll be dancing to Contemporary, and actually, you can dance your mother's Contemporary solo performance to Footprints In the Sand by Leona Lewis", Jasper replied. 

Paige has second thoughts about it. "You sure, Uncle Jasper?", Paige asked. "Hey, you know the dance moves. Why not, perform it at Nationals?", Jasper asked. Without hesitation, Paige accepts it and starts dancing. Later, Emma went to teach Paige, Jessica and Fay their group dance. 

"Alright, girls. For Nationals, you'll be performing Pop, to Rain On Me by Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande. So Paige, you're the leader of this group, so you'll be standing in the middle. Jessica, you'll stand on Paige's right side, and Fay, you'll be standing on Paige's left side.", Emma replied. 

Paige and her friends work so hard during these times, in preparation for Nationals, and in time, she is ready. One night, Paige is in her dorm room, studying late for her upcoming exams, while Jessica and Fay are fast asleep. 

While studying, Paige receives a text message on her phone, it's Sky who tells her that he's taking her to Coney Island Beach the next day. Paige smiles and replies back with an ok, before turning off the lights. 

The next day, it was the weekends and Sky arrives to NYU to pick up Paige, who is wearing a blue long sleeves shoulders off top and blue denim shorts. "You're ready?", Sky asked, in the car. Paige smiles at his words. "Ready as ever.", Paige smiled, as she gets into the car and kisses Sky, before they both drive off. 

Paige and Sky drives all the way to Coney Island Beach, and they both arrive to the beach, where it's very busy. Paige and Sky went to unpack their stuff from the car. Sky unties his surfboard from the roof of his car, when Paige notice it. "Is that a surfboard?", Paige asked. "Yeah, I surf.", Sky replied. 

"What? You surf?", Paige asked. "Yeah, surfing is my other hobby besides dancing.", Sky replied. "Well, you're full of surprises, Sky Taylor.", Paige smiled. Sky smiles at her words, as they both resume unpacking. 

After they unload their stuff from the car, Paige and Sky walk down to the beach and find a spot where they can put their stuff down and sit. While Paige is relaxing in the sand, Sky went out surfing. After Sky finish surfing, he comes back to their spot, where Paige is relaxing. 

"You should go in.", Sky replied. "Nah, maybe next time.", Paige sighed. "Nah, c'mon! It's beautiful out there!", Sky replied. "I rather not.", Paige smiled. "Ok, then you're missing out.", Sky replied, as he goes back to the water, as Paige watches him, walking to the ocean. 

Sky turns his back to Paige and smiles at her, as she smiles back. Sky put out his hand, offering it to Paige, so she got up, took off her clothes, revealing her bikini and goes to join him at the water, taking his hand. "I don't know about this, Sky?", Paige asked. 

"C'mon, it'll be fun!", Sky smiled, as he pick Paige up onto his shoulder and runs into the water, with her screaming and squealing. "Sky!", Paige cried, as water splashes. The couple spend the entire morning in the water, just playing around until they're tired. 

Paige and Sky got out of the water to dry themselves. "Well, that was refreshing.", Paige replied. "I told you.", Sky smiled, as he dries himself with a towel. "Thanks for encouraging me.", Paige sighed. Sky kisses her. "You're hungry? I'm hungry.", Sky asked. "Yeah, sure.", Paige replied, as they pick up their stuff and leave the beach. 

Moments later, they walk to find some food and eventually they stop by at a fish and chips shop and they order some fish and chips for lunch. "This is the best, best day ever.", Paige replied. "It is, I mean we swam in the water all morning and enjoying some fish and chips by the beach. It's the best.", Sky replied. 

Later, they went for a stroll on the beach at sunset. "Are you excited for Nationals?", Sky asked. "Yeah, and a bit nervous.", Paige replied. "Why? I thought you're never nervous at dance competitions.", Sky replied. "Well, Nationals is the biggest competition that I ever have to compete.", Paige replied. 

"Don't worry, Paige. You'll be fine. Remember what Jasper and I said from Regionals, just be yourself.", Sky replied. "Thanks, Sky.", Paige smiled. "Come on, dance with me.", Sky replied. "What?", Paige asked. "Let's practice our dance.", Sky replied, offering Paige his hand. 

Paige takes his hand and they start practicing their dance routine on the beach. After doing their final pose, Sky dips Paige down, which surprises her, and made her laugh. Sky pulls her back up and kisses her again. But unknowing to them, Liz is watching them from the distance. 

"I have to do end their secret relationship.", Liz replied to herself, letting out an evil smirk on her face, before leaving.
