Strictly Dancing

First Encounter

The next day, Sky wakes up early in the morning at 6am, and start his morning with a jog. Paige wakes up early at 6am as well, and decided to start her morning with a jog. They end up jogging in Central Park, where lots of people exercise, or walk their dogs.

After an hour run, Paige stops by a drink vendor to get a drink. "Hi, what can I get you?", the vendor asked. "Just 1 bottle of cranberry juice, please.", Paige smiled, as the vendor turns his back to get her drink.

Right behind her, was Sky, who stops by to get a drink too, as he is texting on his phone while waiting for his turn. "Here you go.", the vendor replied, giving Paige a bottle of cranberry juice. "Thanks.", Paige smiled, as she opens the lid and turns around.

But as she turns, she bumps into Sky, spilling the juice all over him. "Oh!", Paige screamed, as cranberry juice splashes everywhere. "Uhh!", Sky cried, realising that he is covered in cranberry juice, and his shirt is stained in red. "I am so sorry!", Paige cried. "No, it's fine!", Sky replied.

"I didn't mean to do that!", Paige cried. "No, it's ok.", Sky replied. The vendor gives Paige some napkins, and she attempts to wipe the juice off him. "No, I can do it.", Sky replied, taking the napkin from Paige's hand, wiping the excess juice from his shirt.

"I'm so sorry, I didn't know you were right behind me.", Paige replied. "Nah, it's not your fault.", Sky smiled. "You ok?", Paige asked. "Yeah, I'm fine. It's just juice.", Sky replied with a smile.

"Well, I guess I need to buy another one.", Paige replied, as she turns around, but Sky stops her by holding her shoulder. "Nah, let me buy you another.", Sky replied. "Oh, no. It's ok.", Paige replied. "I insist.", Sky replied, as he pulls out his wallet.

Paige and Sky get their drinks and leaves the drink vendor together. "Thanks for the juice.", Paige smiled. "You're welcome. You seem to be new around here.", Sky replied. "Yeah, I just moved here from Chicago yesterday.", Paige replied. "Oh, for a fresh start?", Sky asked. "No, for college.", Paige replied.

"Ok, which university are you going?", Sky asked. "NYU.", Paige replied. "Freshman?", Sky asked. "Yes.", Paige smiled. "Ok.", Sky replied, nodding to himself. "What about you?", Paige asked. "Huh?", Sky asked. "You live around here?", Paige asked. "Yeah, I was born and raised here. I live about a few minutes away from the park.", Sky replied.

"You're in college?", Paige asked. "No, no. I graduated about 2-3 years ago. So I'm not in college.", Sky replied. "So what do you do for a living?", Paige asked. "I'm a professional dancer.", Sky replied. "Ok, that's sounds fun.", Paige replied. "It is.", Sky smiled. The two smile until Sky forgot to introduce himself.

"Sorry, I forgot to introduce myself. I'm Sky, by the way.", Sky replied, offer his hand to shake. Paige takes it and shook his hand. "Paige.", Paige replied with a smile. "Nice to meet you, Paige. Welcome to New York.", Sky smiled.

"Thanks.", Paige smiled, as she looks at her watch, realising she only has an hour and a half to get ready for her first day in class. "Shoot. I better get going, I have class in an hour and half!", Paige cried.

"Same here, I better get going too. I hope I'll see you around.", Sky replied. "Same.", Paige smiled, as they wave goodbye and went their separate ways. Paige runs back to NYU and back to her dorm room, to take a shower and get ready for her first day at college.

Sky returns to his apartment to shower and get ready for his first day back at the dance studio. Paige successfully got ready in time and made it to her first class. Sky also made it to the dance studio, the Broadway Dance Center, where he is greeted by his friends there, who welcomed him back.

Sky is so happy as he starts his first dance lessons in a long time...
