One night, it was Sky and Kate's anniversary and he decided to take her out to a fancy restaurant for dinner. As they drove, Sky and Kate are talking and enjoying each other's companies as Sky is behind the wheel.
"I'm so glad that I'm with you.", Sky sighed. "Me too, and I can't wait to marry you.", Kate smiled. "I know, me too.", Sky sighed. But unknowing to them, another car, with a drunk driver behind the wheel, drove on the wrong side of the road, heading towards them!
Kate saw the upcoming car. "Sky, look out!", Kate screamed. Sky saw the car heading towards his car and tries to brake fast, but it was too late, the two cars collide to each other, knocking Sky out.
After the huge crash, Sky woke up after being knocked out, upside-down. He looks to his right and Kate wasn't in the car with him. He manage to unbuckle his seatbelt and crawl out of his car, which is flipped upside-down.
He tries to get up, but he realises that he has broken his leg and is bleeding on his head. He looks around and saw Kate, lying on the road, on her stomach, motionless. "Kate!", Sky cried, as he tries to get close to her. He held her in his arms and tries to wake her up.
"Kate, wake up.", he cried, but she didn't wake up or respond to his words. Panic, Sky shakes Kate, begging her to wake up. "Kate!", Sky cried. Sky check her pulse on her neck and her breathing, but he couldn't find a pulse or hear her breathing. He realises that his fiancee is dead.
"Kate! NO!!!", Sky screamed from the top of his lungs, as he broke down in tears, cradling Kate's body in his arms. Moments later, police and ambulance have arrived to the scene. The drunk driver survive the crash and is taken to hospital with head injuries.
Sky is put on a stretcher as he watches Kate's body being zipped up in a body bag. A paramedic came to him and gave him a mini ziplock bag, containing Kate's engagement ring.
"Kate.", Sky sighed, as he is taken away from her and taken to the hospital. Upon arrival, Sky's family came to the hospital as quick as they can, after they receive the news from a cop.
Sky is taken into surgery, where doctors bandage his head and put a leg boot on his broken leg, telling him to take some time from dancing to recover and must walk with crutches. Sky is able to visit Kate's body to say goodbye and he broke down in tears, as he saw her lying there, lifeless.
The drunk driver, who collided into Sky and Kate's car, is charged for drink-driving and first degree murder. He is pleaded guilty and is sentenced to 15 years imprisonment.
Sky couldn't testify Kate's killer in court, due to his recovery, so Kate's family testify for him in court. Sky spend 3 days at the hospital before he is released in time for Kate's funeral.
At the funeral, Sky attends to Kate's funeral with his family and is comforted by Scott, who is by his side, as Kate's coffin is lowered down to the burial, Sky drops a red rose onto her coffin. After the funeral, Sky would stand by Kate's grave for hours, until Scott persuades him to go.
