After a 12-hour drive, Paige has finally arrived to New York, and to her surprise, New York City is bigger than Chicago, and she knew that she will love and enjoy her time in the city, while attending college. She made it NYU and start bring her stuff to her dorm room.
Paige eventually finds her dorm room, while picking up her first items. Once she enter inside her dorm room, there are two girls, already inside. "Oh, hello.", one of them greeted. "You must be Paige.", the other one replied. "Yes, I'm Paige.", Paige smiled.
"I'm Jessica, but you can call me Jess.", Jessica replied. "And I'm Fay.", Fay replied. Jessica is a girl with a bubbly personality, who has deep red hair, like the colour of red velvet cake and is a girly girl who mainly wears pink, while Fay is a girl who is much mature, who has black hair with blue and purple streaks and is a goth.
"Nice to meet you guys, and I'm guessing you two are my roommates.", Paige replied. "Yep, so we can get to know each other.", Fay replied. "And we can be best friends!", Jessica replied, whose bubbly personality made Paige giggle. "Yes we can.", Paige replied.
Paige spend all day, going in and out to pick up her stuff from her car to put in her dorm room, and her new friends gave her a helping hand. After picking all of her stuff, Paige and her friends starts to unpack and settle into their dorm room.
As Paige unpack her trophies from her boxes, Jessica and Fay saw Paige's trophies. "Wow, that's a lot of trophies!", Farrah replied. "Thanks, they're my dancing trophies.", Paige replied. "You dance?", Jessica asked. "Yeah.", Paige smiled. "I do too.", Jessica replied, revealing some of her trophies.
"Same here.", Fay smiled, revealing some of her trophies. Learning that the three girls does dancing, they instantly get along. After hours of unpacking and settling in, Paige finish putting her stuff and lay on her bed to rest. "I'm so tired.", Paige sighed.
"Me too.", Fay replied, who is laying on her bed. "Me three.", Jessica replied. "You know what? All of this settling in makes me hungry.", Paige replied. "Same.", Fay replied. "Let's go somewhere to eat.", Jessica replied, as the three girls left their dorm room and head to the city to find a place to dinner.
The girls went to a local diner, and they ordered burgers, fries and milkshakes. "This is perfect. Just what that I need after my first day here.", Paige replied. "So Paige, where are you from?", Jessica asked. "I'm from Chicago. What about you?", Paige asked. "Miami.", Fay replied.
"Los Angeles.", Jessica smiled. "Ok, and you guys are enrolling into a dance academy here in New York?", Paige asked. "Yep, the Broadway Dance Center.", Fay replied. "Same with me.", Jessica smiled. "I am too.", Paige smiled.
The three girls cheer for each other, as they are enrolling to the same dance academy. "Looks like we'll be going to dance school together!", Paige smiled. "Cheers to that!", Fay smiled, raising her milkshake glass. "Cheers!", the three girls cried out, clinking their milkshake glasses together.
That night, Paige and her friends return to their dorm room and went to bed. As Jessica and Fay are asleep, Paige is in bed, looking at a photo frame of her parents. "I'll make you proud, Mom. I promise.", Paige sighed as she doze off to sleep.
