Sky's Fate

A week later, Paige is now recovered from her injuries, and no longer needs to use a cane to walk, and Luke has return to Chicago after Paige has fully recovered. On a late night, Paige is sleeping in her dorm room, when she receives a phone call from Sky's mother, Lydia. 

"Hello, Mrs Taylor?", Paige asked. "Paige! Oh my God! You have to come to the hospital where your grandfather works!", Lydia cried, in a panic. "Mrs Taylor, calm down. Tell me what's going on?", Paige asked. 

"It's Sky! He's in the hospital right now", Lydia cried. "Wait, what?! Is he ok?", Paige asked. "No, he's in a really bad way.", Lydia replied. "Ok, I'm coming!", Paige cried, as Jessica and Fay woke up. 

"Hey, what's going on?", Jessica asked. "It's Sky, he's in the hospital right now!", Paige cried. "What? Is he ok?", Fay asked. "I don't know, that's why I'm going to see for myself.", Paige replied, as she quickly gets dressed and pack her purse. "I gotta go!", Paige cried, as she walks out of the door. 

"Yeah, go! Message us for updates.", Fay replied. "Will do!", Paige replied, as she runs out of NYU. Knowing that the hospital is far for her to run to, Paige decided to call Jasper to take her to the hospital. Jasper answers his phone after waking up from a deep sleep, which woke Emma too. 

"Paige?", Jasper asked. "Uncle Jasper! I need you to take me to the hospital where Grandpa works right now!", Paige cried. This shocks Jasper, who sat up from his bed. "What?! What's going on? Are you ok?", Jasper asked. "I'm fine, but it's Sky. He's in the hospital.", Paige replied. 

"Ok! Stay outside NYU, I'm coming!", Jasper cried, as he ends the call. "Babe, I have to go!", Jasper cried, to Emma. "What's going on?", Emma asked. "Sky's admitted to the hospital, so I have to go and take her to see him!", Jasper replied, as he quickly gets dressed and grab his keys. 

"Go and be with Paige, I'll take care of the dance class for you.", Emma replied, as she goes back to sleep and Jasper drives to NYU and pick up Paige and drive her to the hospital. Jasper and Paige arrives to the hospital, where they are greeted by Lydia. "Oh, Paige. Thank God, you're here!", Lydia cried. "Where's Sky?", Paige asked. 

"He's in here. ", Lydia cried, as she grabs Paige's hand and take her to Sky, who is in his hospital room, unconscious. Paige, Lydia and Jasper arrives to Sky's room, where Don, Scott and Emily are are waiting inside. As Paige comes in, and Sky is just lying there, and his face is pale white. 

"What happened to him?", Paige asked. "I don't know, I came to his apartment and I found him lying on the floor.", Lydia replied. Then Nicholas came in. "Grandpa! How's Sky?", Paige asked. "He's stable for now, but we have to keep him here overnight.", Nicholas replied. "What's wrong with him, Dad?", Jasper asked. 

"Well, we did some testing and the results just came back.", Nicholas replied. "And?", Lydia asked. "It's best of you take a seat for this.", Nicholas replied. Lydia and Paige sat down, while Jasper remain on his feet. "Dr Quinn, please tell me what's wrong with my son?", Lydia asked. 

"Mrs Taylor, your son has 0.30 percentage of alcohol in his blood system.", Nicholas replied. "Does that mean...?", Lydia asked. "Yes, Mrs Taylor. Sky has alcohol poisoning.", Nicholas sighed, which stun Lydia, who then broke down, as Don comforts her. Paige is shock too, and she suddenly runs out of the room and Jasper runs after her. 

"Paige!", Jasper called out as he runs after her. Paige runs as fast as she can and out of the hospital. "Paige, wait!", Jasper cried, as he chases after her. That late night, Paige is sitting on the swing chair at Pier 35, where she and Sky had their first kiss, and remember those wonderful memories that they had together. 

Jasper eventually found her. "Paige! Thank God, I found you!", Jasper cried, with a relief. "What were you thinking, running out like that?", Jasper asked. "I'm sorry, Uncle Jasper. I just can't stand it.", Paige replied. Jasper sat next to Paige. "I know. But Sky's strong. He'll be ok.", Jasper replied.
