Strictly Dancing

Nationals

About a week later, it was the day of Nationals, the biggest dance competition of America. On the day, Paige, Jessica and Fay gets ready for the competition, by packing their dancing bags and heading out of NYU to catch a ride from Jasper and Emma, who is waiting outside for them. 

They later arrive to the academy and take a bus to the venue where Nationals is held. Once they arrive to the venue, Paige immediately gets dressed for her solo performance in her dressing room with Jessica and Fay. Emma helps the girls get ready, by doing their hairs and make-ups. 

Paige put on her pink dancing dress, for her contemporary performance, as Jasper, Nicholas, Ben, Sky and Nicole comes in to see her. "You girls dressed yet?", Jasper asked, who is covering his eyes. "Yep, we're dressed.", Paige replied, as she turns and saw her family in front of her. 

"Surprise!", all of them cried, as Paige is happy to see them. "Oh my God!", Paige cried, as she hugs her family. "We're so excited for you, Paige.", Nicole cried. "Congrats, my grandchild.", Nicholas smiled. "I can't believe you're all here.", Paige cried. "Hello, Paige.", a woman called out, as Jasper and Sky steps aside and the woman smiles. 

Paige immediately recognises her, it's her grandmother, Marie, who is back from a business trip. "Grandma!", Paige cried, as she hugs her. "I'm so proud of you, darling.", Marie sighed, hugging her granddaughter. "I'm so glad you're here to see me.", Paige cried. Later, Jasper looks at Paige in her costume. 

"What do you think, Uncle Jasper?", Paige asked. "It's beautiful, kiddo. You look like your mother. Your dad would be so proud of you.", Jasper smiled. "Yeah, I wish he was here, to say it to me in person.", Paige sighed, as she turns around. 

Then suddenly, Luke appears at the door. "I am.", Luke replied. Paige is surprised to hear Luke's voice, and sees his reflection in the mirror, before turning around and see her dad standing there in front of her with a smile. 

Without hesitation, Paige screams with joy. "DAD!", Paige cried, as she runs up to him, as Luke opens his arms out for her. "Hey, Princess!", Luke greeted, as Paige jumps on him with a hug. Everyone smiles with joy as Paige and Luke embrace. "I can't believe you're here!", Paige cried. 

"I wouldn't want to miss you compete in the world, Princess. I'm so proud of you and I know you will win this.", Luke smiled, as Paige smiles at his words. "Ok, we better get going, because you'll be called up there soon, Paige.", Jasper replied. 

"I'll see you later, Princess.", Luke replied with a wink, as he leaves the dressing room. "Bye, Dad.", Paige smiled. Later, Paige goes out from backstage to wait in line for her turn to perform. Liz goes back stage after finishing performing her solo, and taunts Paige. 

"I hear you and Sky got back together.", Liz scoffed. "Whatever you're trying to do, it's not working. You may fooled me once, but not this time.", Paige replied. "We'll see.", Liz smirked. Then Fay comes in to defend Paige. "You better back off, Lizzie!", Fay yelled. "Standing up to your  friend instead of your own sister!", Liz replied. 

"You're not my sister, and you never will be.", Fay replied. Liz then walks away, as Fay watches her with a death stare, before checking on Paige. "Are you ok?", Fay asked, comforting her. "Yeah, I'm fine.", Paige replied. 

"I'm so sorry. My sister is so annoying. When is she ever going to give up?", Fay scoffed. "I don't know, Fay. But she'll do anything to win this.", Paige replied. Then Jasper, Emma and comes out to support Paige. "Hey! Are you ready for this?", Jasper asked. "You know I'm always ready, Uncle Jasper.", Paige smiled. 

"Now remember, what I said.", Jasper replied. "Yes, I know. Smile and give those judges everything I got.", Paige replied. "Exactly.", Jasper replied. "I wish Mom was here to see me right now.", Paige sighed. "She is.", Jasper replied, pointing his finger onto her locket, as Paige looks down, at her mother's locket around her neck.
