JACE POV

I woke up before her, she laid peacefully asleep beside me. I rolled over slowly, kissing her hand and then making my way out of bed. I headed downstairs and grabbed a soda before going out back and sitting in one of the chairs.

I looked around me and suddenly heard a knock on the front door. I stood and walked back through the house, looking out the hole. No one was there. I slowly opened it and stepped out, that's when I saw the package right in front of my feet. It was a box. I picked it up and walked back in the house, setting it on the counter.

It was addressed to Kira but there was no other name on there or anything. I guess we will wait for her to wake up and then she'll open it. I heard a door open and then I saw Justin walking across the balcony.

"Morning," I said.

"Morning," he skipped down, "hey can I ask you something?"

"Shoot," I turned on the television.

"What happened last night?" he asked, "earlier, I mean? How did she- Grace- how did Kira do it?"

"I don't really understand it myself," I shook my head, "she said she had this feeling like she could feel her so she said she came and asked you where she was, when you told her she went to her. I heard the door open and close, I followed her out there and I watched her start waving her hands above her, you know he witchy stuff. Then she just fell over, like completely unconscious. She said, I think, that it was her ancestors or something pulling her to talk to them about Grace. Whenever she woke back up she started talking in that other language and man Grace, she just woke up."

"What happened when she woke up?" he questioned.

"She clung to Kira for dear life," I sighed, "she was terrified, but she was also her normal self. She kept asking what happened, you know, just a shit load of questions. We both told her she would need to talk to you."

"Shit," he sighed, "I don't know what to say. It'll scare the hell out of her, it might change her. What do I say?"

"You tell her the truth," Kira added. The two of us turned to see her walking down the stairs, "good morning my love," she smiled at me.

"Goodmorning beautiful," I smiled back. She walked over and sat beside me.

"You tell her the exact truth," I nodded, "you stay calm and you make her listen all the way through. She can ask questions when you're done explaining."

"Are you sure?" he asked her, "like really sure? God I wish I didn't have to do this. Kira, please can you talk to her?"

She started to chuckle, "I guess I can, but you have to be there, she'll need you."

"Of course I'll be there," he said, "I just don't know what to say or how to word anything."

"You really shouldn't be having to explain stuff like this," I looked over at Kira and back at him, "you're too young to have to deal with all the shit yet."

"No," he shook his head, "I'm a wolf, I've been dealing and learning how to handle these situations all my life. I'm disappointed in myself for not knowing what to do. My dad- he- he would be so-"

"He would be proud of you," Kira cut him off, "him and your mother both would be exceptionally proud of you."

"You really think so?" he looked at her.

"I know so," she nodded. She walked over to him, wrapping him in a hug. Just like clock work, Grace walked out of her room.

"Good morning!" she yelled while hopping down the stairs, "what's for breakfast?!"
