KIRA POV

I had no recollection of what happened. The last thing I remember was laying down to go to sleep and then I woke up to Jace yelling and I was on the floor. Everyone was in our room and Jessica just had fear and confusion written on her face. She left the room so fast and when I heard her yelling at Alex... it made me feel so shitty. I knew this was all because of me...

After they told me what I did, I don't feel like the same person. I don't like who I am or what I'm becoming. Once everyone had cleared out and it was just me and Jace, I was able to let everything out. The tears flooded eyes and ran down my cheeks. He wrapped his arms around me without saying anything.

"I'm so sorry Jace," I shook my head, "I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to do that to you. I-"

"It's okay my love," he reassured me, "really it is. No one got hurt, everyone is okay. Alex had his words with me and now he's gonna go get back with Jess. They'll be okay. Esme and Justin are both okay. Grace is in her room, safe. Ev-"

"I haven't seen Grace in a while," I shook my head, "are you sure she's okay?"

"I'm sure," he nodded, "I saw her come out whenever I had just gotten you home. She went back in as quickly as she opened the door to look out. She's okay." I slowly stood and started towards the door, walking down the hallway and to her room. I knocked and slowly opened the door.

"Kira!" she jumped up. I felt her arms wrap around my waist and she hugged me tightly, "you're okay!"

"I'm okay," I chuckled as I hugged her back, "how are you? How's school been?"

"Are you okay?" She pulled away and looked at me, "are you sure you're okay? I heard you tell Jace what happened and then I heard all that stuff down there. Are you sure?"

"I'm sure," I nodded, "I'm okay and I'm home now, hopefully to stay." A small smile spread across her face. "So, how's school?" I asked again, "learn anything new?"

"No but there is this girl that keeps looking at me funny in class," she shrugged, "I don't really know why. Anytime I look over, she's looking at me."

"Can you sense anything?" I asked her, "any obvious traits that she could be one of us? What's her name?"

"Tabitha," she sighed, "and no. I've walked around her and been around her, I can't sense anything. She has a really bad attitude though, she always yells."

"Hmm maybe just ignore her?" I suggested, "she may just be trying to get on your nerves. Just ignore her but if she pokes at you or anything, go tell a teacher. If yours isn't listening, tell someone else. Someone will listen and even if they don't, I do and I will say something. Okay?" She nodded her head and wrapped her arms around me again.

"I love you," she smiled, "I'm glad you're okay. I was worried."

"Well you all keep me pushing," I chuckled, "I'll always come back. Nothing will prevent that. Are you hungry at all?"

"No," she shook her head, "Justin made me food earlier. I was just getting ready for bed." I looked up and saw that it was dark out. Where has the day gone?

"Alright well I'll see you in the morning," I kissed the top of her head, "get some sleep." I turned and walked from her room once she climbed in bed. I saw Jace sitting on the couch, Esme and Justin were sitting on the other. I started down the stairs and walked to Jace, sitting down beside him. "How are you doing Esme?" I asked her.

"I'm okay," she smiled, "I haven't been able to find anything. I don't know how you do it. You're much better at the research stuff."

"That's okay," I nodded, "it'll probably be impossible to find anything about him online. Afterall none of the witches know about him. No one does, atleast we don't think. I feel Rit would have told me... then again she died before she could get the word 'brother' out. Only reason I was able to verify that was because I caught the last thing she saw before passing."
