Sunghoon and I spent the entire day together, again. Although he seemed a bit nervous about something, he reassured me that it wasn't anything serious. I trust him, so I let it slide.

School ended nearly two hours ago, and I've been home for about an hour and a half. Sunghoon left to go practice for an ice skating competition about an hour ago, or that's what he told me. He'd told me that now because his parents aren't around to pressure him, he finally would be able to skate again without it feeling like they were watching his every move.

Soon after Sunghoon left (and I told him to text me when he got back), Jay invited me over to his room to hangout with Heeseung, K, Niki, Taki, Nicholas, Hanbin, EJ, and Daniel. I agreed of course, but I had a hard time imagining how all of us could fit in Jay's single person dorm room. But Jay's pretty stubborn and determined, so I'm sure he'll find a way.

I turned when I heard my phone ringing, and I immediately grabbed it and put it up to my ear once I saw the contact name.

"Jake hyung?" A soft yet deep voice came through the other line and I smiled subconsciously at the other's voice.

"What do you need, Riki?" I asked as the Japanese boy paused, to presumably collect his thoughts. His brain ran a bit slow sometimes, especially when he was tired after a long day at school, so I knew to give him a moment.

"Hyung, I'm at the store now... What do you want for a snack? I have like... 50,000 won on me right now."

"Eh?! 50,000? That's a lot, Riki."

...

"Are you going to tell me what you want? Or.."

"Yeah yeah.. just grab me some chips and a thing of banana milk, please."

"Okay, hyung."

"Ah, wait a min-"

Then there was a beep signifying that the call had been ended.

Aish... This kid.

30 minutes later...

Riki (Ni-ki) arrived at my door along with Heeseung and K to supposedly bring me to Jay's room just as I had finished getting ready.

Talk about perfect timing.

"Is it just me, or did you get taller since I last saw you?"

"Jake hyung, you sound like my halmeoni."

I was right. Riki grew by at least 2 centimeters within the last month or so. And although I hadn't noticed it because I'd seen him nearly every day... I guess it's just because I'm no longer growing. Short people things, I guess. Hah.

We arrived at Jay's room and Heeseung immediately went into the bathroom, because he apparently "had to go", but I suspect it's because he wants to spend a bit of private time with Jay (who's currently spending his sweet sweet time getting ready).

Welp...

Niki grabbed a grocery bag from K and set it on a mini table beside Jay's bed, taking out like 8 packages of ramen and a few drinks.. including my banana milk.

"He's excited." K nudged my shoulder and gave me a sad smile.

"He failed his exams and got into an argument with his parents over the phone earlier... So he's trying to distract himself."
