Stream Lalisa, guys. She's my wife^^

(Sunghoon's POV)

Sunghoon was finally happy again. But this time, he was genuinely happy...because he knew that the person he loved was okay. He finally did for Jake what Jake had done for him countless times since they'd gotten to know each other.

The raven-haired boy smiled as he thought about a certain brunette boy. A boy who quite literally was his world. A boy who had an innocent face, cute pouty lips, the prettiest smile, and the most heart-warming laugh.

"Are you okay, Sunghoon-ah?"

Ah, speaking of Jake...

Sunghoon quickly sat up and nodded at the older boy, smiling as the sweet sound of Jake's laughter filled the air.

"Shouldn't I be the one to ask you that?" Sunghoon chuckled when Jake frowned at him and crossed his arms, acting like a child.

"Hoooooonie, I thought we were over that!" Jake whined, his voice and mannerisms transforming as he put his aegyo skills to use.

Sunghoon threw his head back and laughed out loud. He loved it when Jake got angry, he just thought it was cute when Jake pretended to be legitimately frustrated with him.

Besides, it was true. After last night's incident, Sunghoon had persuaded Jake- through quite a bit of aegyo and begging, to open up about what was bothering. So, Sunghoon found out that Jake had been put into a similar situation as he, as in both of their parents had pretty much disowned them. For what reason, they had yet to find out. All they knew for now though, was that they had each other to depend on. And honestly, they felt relieved in a way.

"I'm bored." Jake suddenly said, grabbing Sunghoon's hand and jumping off the bed, dragging the slightly younger boy along with him.

"Where are you going?" Sunghoon asked, a bewildered look stretched across his pale face.

Jake smiled whilst he led Sunghoon out of the room and down the hallway, "We're gonna go get ice cream. At my favorite ice cream place."

"But why?"

Jake scowled and stopped moving, causing Sunghoon to bump into him and grab him by his waist so they didn't both fall down the stairway.

"Because you owe me a date after all this stupid drama I've helped you through."

...

A while later, Sunghoon sat on a bench underneath a large oak tree and watched Jake from afar as the boy stood in line by the ice cream truck.

He was still a bit dazed as he kept thinking back to what Jake said earlier, before they made it to the park.

"You owe me a date..."

Date...date...date...date. You owe me a date. Those words kept running through Sunghoon's mind as he kept his gaze fixed on the brunette boy who stood a distance from him, smiling subconsciously as the sun reflected onto his skin. Sunghoon would be the biggest liar known to mankind if he were to say he didn't like like Jake.

Anyone could see it if they watched him for long enough. Sunghoon was absolutely, terribly and utterly whipped for Sim Jaeyoon. He couldn't stop taking about him, whether it be to any of his friends, or just to himself. And he couldn't keep the latter out of his head either. Every second that passed, an image of a certain Australian boy would flash into his mind and completely distract him for a moment.

Sunghoon even knew this himself. Even though he and Jake had only met a mere few months ago, he already knew that he wouldn't be able to live without the boy. After so many nights he'd spent thinking about him, Sunghoon had come to the conclusion that he did in fact have a crush on Jake Sim. Sim Jaeyoon. The one person whom he knew he couldn't live without at this point, and he was kinda terrified by that fact. It made his stomach churn with anxiety whenever he thought about how Jake might not need him anymore one day.

When he thought of Jake in the future, sometimes he would imagine the boy walking down the street with his spouse and children, that adorable, shining smile of his on display for everyone but Sunghoon to see. It made his heart hurt when he thought of that, because he knew that his feelings for Jake would never dissolve at this point. Even if the brunette somehow moved on from Sunghoon and forgot all about him, Sunghoon knew that he could never forget Jake.

Jake was the world to him. He knew even if they fought, even if they fell apart and vowed to never see each other again, Sunghoon wouldn't be able to rid himself of Jake's presence. Not after everything they'd been through.

Sunghoon easily found himself in this situation. Where he would send himself into a spiral of "what ifs" involving Jake, and he would usually end up just forcing himself to stop, because he could never only remind himself that there was a strong chance that Jake could only see him as a "best friend".

No matter how much skin ship, hugging, hand holding, forehead kissing the two exchanged, Sunghoon always brought himself back to the assumption that Jake viewed him as only a friend.

And that's why he never bothered to take anything further. He never gave in to the constant urge he had to just give the older boy a peck on the lips. He never gave in to the urge to just shout the words, "I LIKE YOU!" to the boy. And he never gave in to the constant urge he had to claim the smaller boy as his own. Even if he wanted to do all these things so bad, there was always an obstacle. There was always something to stop him, something that could cross Sunghoon's mind to stop him from doing something that could break his own heart.

"Hoon-ah, I got the ice cream!"

Dude, I haven't written in this book for so long. And for that, I apologize. I just haven't found the inspiration for continuing this book, which is why I believe the end is coming near. I already have another story I'm working on, which is quite different from this one, no there are no ideas left in my head to continue with this books storyline. And that's why I'm gonna stop writing this story very soon. I just don't have anymore inspiration... I hope y'all understand!
