He should felt mad or insulted. Hindi maganda ang tinrato sakaniya ni Mommy kaya hindi ko maintindihan kung bakit mukhang wala lang kay Rogan ang nangyari at nakangiti pang nagpaalam saamin.

"What is that all about?! What are you doing?!" Mommy's voice thundered all over my room. Umangat ang tingin ko sa namumulang mukha ni Mommy habang nakapameywang.

I even caught the grimace on her face while looking at my room. Halata sa mukha ang disgusto sa ayos ng kwarto ko.

"I don't know what you're talking about." giit ko at halos mapairap dahil hindi pa rin mawala sa isip ko ang ginawa niya kay Rogan.

It's not that Rogan's opinion towards my family matters. I'm just upset how Mommy rudely approached him. Alam ko kung gaano kamaldita si Mommy but I can't believe she went this too far.

Ilang linggo kami hindi nagkita at ganito pa ang isasalubong niya saakin.

"Haven't you heard the news? Everyone is celebrating because Keanu and Quira caught kissing off cam! That the two are real couple! While you're here minding your.." she paused still looked disgust. "..your probinsyanong manliligaw!" gusto kong itama ang spekulasyon ni Mommy tungkol kay Rogan ngunit mas nangingibabaw sa aking isipan ang una niyang sinabi.

"They kissed?" halos pabulong kong sambit at hindi makapaniwala sa narinig. Thinking that Mommy's just bluffing but I know she would never do that. Lalo na't siya rin mismo ay hindi rin makapaniwala sa nalaman.

"My God Adi. What did you do? You chose that guy over Keanu?" napapikit ako at hinilot ang sentido.

Keanu... cheated on me? At sa lahat-lahat pa talaga ay yung babaeng kinamumuhian ko?

"Kaya siguro pinatulan na niya si Quira because you have someone new!" paratang ni Mommy.

"Rogan's nothing to do with this and Keanu ghosted me since last week! Ni-hindi na siya tumatawag o nagtetext saakin!" nasapo ni Mommy ang dibdib at tila nanghina sa narinig.

"You need to do something Adi!" aniya nang ilang minutong natahimik. "Let Keanu come back to you! This can't be happening!"napaawang ang labi ko sa suhesyon ni Mommy.

"My, naririnig mo ba ang sinasabi mo? Keanu cheated on me!" halos isagaw ko kay Mommy 'yon dahil mukhang ayaw pa rin maniwala kahit obvious na ang nangyayari.

"Have you heard his explanation? Hindi pa 'diba? I'm pretty sure he has explanation about this! You can't lose him, Adi. Keanu has lots of connection in showbiz. He'll help you once I had your Daddy's consent to get you back in Manila!" desperada niyang sambit habang hindi mapakali sa kinatatayuan.

I lost in awe as I realized why Mommy's in front of me, looked devastating. She's here not to comfort me because her daughter cheated by his boyfriend, falling apart because of betrayal but because she concerns her more of the thought I might completely lose the career she wants me to be part of.

I couldn't believe her...

"Since he hasn't called you, have you try giving him a call? You should talk to Keanu. Maybe this is just a misunderstanding. Keanu really loves-"

"Mommy! For God's sake will you stop that fucking showbiz just once?!" ramdam ko ang init hindi lang ng damdamin kundi ang mata sa halo-halong emosyon nararamdaman ko ngayon.

I silently cried, clenched my fist and placed it where it screamed agony, my heart. I felt my heart beating rapidly inside of me. Masakit, unti-unti akong pinapatay sa bawat tibok.

"Anak, i'm sorry..."bulong ni Mommy at mabilis na lumapit saakin upang yakapin ako.

I let her hugged me. Wondering if she realized the pain i'm feeling about what I found out today. And part of me hoping she somehow felt what I am feeling. That she understands me.
