"What exactly happened, Adi? I told you so many times that you need a bodyguard! If you listen to Rogan..." Napairap ako habang sinasalo ang mga sermon ni Mommy.

Kung nakaligtas ako kay Rogan, kay Mommy hindi.

"I know. I feel guilty naman! It's just I didn't expect that I have that many Filipino fans..." pangangatwiran ko kahit dapat naisip ko na 'yon nung nagkagulo ang mga tao sa labas ng bahay noon. 

"What do you mean? After your issue with Keanu in Maldives, you should expect that!" Here we go about dragging Keanu.

"It won't happen again. I promise..."

"Dapat lang! Nabasa mo ba ang pinagsasabi nila kay Rogan? Haynako mga tao talaga!" Napaupo ako at kinabahan sa sinabi niya.

"Huh? What do you mean?"

"Some fans were bashing him for being so touchy. Of course, bagong issue lang yung sainyo ni Keanu at people assuming that there's something between you two—"

"What exactly did people say?"

"Na sumasapaw siya sa namumuong love n'yo ni Keanu..." She laughed. "I know it sounds so ridiculous but we can't blame them since people are so hopeless..."

Hindi ko na natapos ang iba sinabi ni Mommy at sinubukan mag search sa internet tungkol saakin. I never search myself online since I know there a countless inaccurate allegations or assumptions from me and I don't have enough energy to explain or defend myself. Silence is the best answer. But I don't think silence was applicable when Rogan was involved.

It's true that some people are not pleased about what happened earlier. At sobra akong nagulat dahil ang bilis kumalat non! Ngayon pa lang talaga nagsisink saakin sikat na nga ako sa Pilipinas. I know that I'm a public figure and there are some fellow Filipino in NY before na nakakakilala na saakin but not to this kind of popularity. It's just an hour ago!

"Calm down, Adi. That's not the right time to give a statement. Just stay in your suite..." Rinig ko ang frustration ni Riva sa kabilang linya. 

Ayos lang sana kung ako lang pero binabatikos nila si Rogan! Many articles appeared about him and the media was fascinated by Rogan's personal life. He's not used to this kind of spotlight.

"I know that this is not your problem anymore, Riva—"

"What are you saying? Alaga kita kaya problema mo ay problema ko!" Aniya at mukhang nagalit pa sa sinabi ko.

"Basta makinig ka saakin. Bukas na bukas ay burado na ang lahat ng article na 'yan. For now, enjoy your rest day. I suggest na lumabas ka na lang sa mismong wedding."

I agreed with Riva. Ayoko na magkaroon ulit ng commotion dahil sakin lalo na't madami ng nakakaalam na nandito ako sa Casa De Galves. May ilan na nga daw mga media na nasa labas ng hotel pero dahil kakilala ni Rogan ang may-ari, mabilis naaksyunan at hindi napapasok, kahit na magccheck-in naman.

Alam kong hindi man sila nakapasok may mga  nakalusot pa rin sakanila at nag disguise as a tourist at minamanmanan ako kaya mas mabuting hindi lumabas.

I feel helpless as I check the article every now and then, hoping that all of them are gone. I am fine with articles on me or Keanu; just leave Rogan alone.
