When life hits you with a stone, whack it with your trusty loaf of bread.

That's what Ms. Adrianna Lopez advice to her fans from her newest interview. Life has been harsh to me lately and her words make sense to me.

"I think this is fine." An American-Russian designer looked at me through the mirror, still checking if it's okay.

I'm in a fitting for an upcoming runway show and my agent typically checks in with me who always saves my ass off. They make sure to review the schedule because it typically changes... especially if I am asked to go to an audition or casting.

"Solenn, we need to pushed back your second fitting appointment. You need to attend the audition for the upcoming runaway show...." Paalala sakin ng agent ko kaya tinanguhan ko ito.

Nagkatitigan kami ng designer at hindi siya mukhang convince na ayos saakin ang damit na pinasuot.

"Squeeze in a workout, lyubimaya moya,"  Ngiti niya at pinakawalan na ako.

Lihim akong napairap at mas napagtanto iniisip niyang masikip saakin ang damit. If he knows I always switch up my routine with a mix of cardio and weight training since I learned that if I do the same workout every day, my body gets used to it so I need to switch it up every now and then to always keep my body in shock.

I looked at Riva who was watching us silently and shook his head and mouthed i'm doing just great. I nodded and smiled at him and then looked at my phone who got a text from Olivia.

Olivia:
Nag roaming pa ako para sabihin sa'yo hindi papasok ang lahat ng prof dahil sa on going event until friday. Pahinga ka :) Basta fafa boi na Russian ah! Pasalubooong!

Natawa ako sa huling sinabi ni Olivia. Malaking pasalamat nga saakin sinabi niya agad 'yon. I've been working in Berlitze for almost 3 years now. At first, it was really hard to keep everything in places, it was an overwhelming responsibility and a temptation to put my school on hold and just focus on modeling, however, that wasn't the case for me as I need to get that degree no matter what. Iyon na lang nga ang hiling ni Daddy saakin at ayoko hindi mabigay sakaniya 'yon.

Though, my agency kept on asking me considering online schooling so I don't need to go back to the Philippines but I refused. I still want to go back to the Philippines, particularly to La Puerto. That's where my Daddy is.

Ang hirap nga lang. May pagkakataon hindi na ako nakakapasok sa klase ng isang linggo. May pagkakataon sa 15 hours kong flight, kahit may jetlagged kailangan ko pa pumasok dahil exam.

It wasn't easy to fight back sleep because I had to catch up some readings and finish my backlogs during my trip.

"I have a positive feeling that you'll pass the go-see. You have slenderness and face that Adore Me been looking for." Saad saakin ni Farima, one of my agent. She's talking about the audition she mentioned.

"This is gonna be Solenn's training ground to have an audition in Victoria Secrets, yes?" Singit ni Riva kaya't lihim akong napailing.

Riva became my manager again when I passed in Berlitze. He's really handful in every runaway i'm audition for. At parang hindi ata siya matatahimik hangga't hindi ako ipasok sa Victoria Secrets audition. I know it's huge and kinda impossible for me as of now.

But i'm okay if my agency doesn't want to take risks with me. I've been already living a dream. Being able to go runaways and do models in NY is already surreal. And it helps me to realize this this is where I belong.

"Should I cancel our flight, then? You need to rest, Solenn." Pagbabago ni Riva topic ng hindi siya sagutin ni Farima. Nabanggit ko kasi sakaniyang wala ako klase until friday.
