*** Kion's POV ***
I made my way back to Pride Rock, where my parents were already waiting for me. I could see they were not happy.
"Kion! There you are. We heard you roaring. Where were you?" dad asked as I arrived.
"I was just helping out the Guard after I went to Rafiki. They needed my help." I responded.
"Rafiki came here earlier. He told us you should take a break from the Lion Guard. You need to listen to him." Nala said.
"But mom, the whole zebra herd were stampeding into the Outlands!"
"Enough with the excuses!" Simba said. "Your mental health needs to come first. If Rafiki says you need to take another break, then you listen to him."
I sighed. "Fine."
"From now on, you're asking permission if you want to go somewhere. If you want to go to the watering hole, then you ask either me or your mother if you're allowed to. No more going to places without us knowing. Am I making myself clear?"
This is ridiculous! I thought. I'm not a little cub anymore! Why are they treating me like one? I looked on the ground with an angry expression. "Yes, dad."
My mom must have noticed I was far from happy to this new rule. "It's for your own good, Kion. We just want to help you."
"How is this gonna help me? You just make me feel worse!" I said. I didn't mean to say it out loud, but I was too angry to hold it in.
My parents were stunned from my reaction and didn't know what to say next.
"I'm going to the den, if I'm allowed to." I said sarcastically. I didn't wait for a response and went straight to the royal den. My parents didn't stop me.
As I walked inside, I noticed Tiifu, Zuri and Kiara talking with each other. But they stopped as soon as they saw me walking inside. I figured I was being stared at. Probably because of my angriness. I didn't care and laid down on my sleeping spot.
"I think he needs to be alone." I heard Tiifu whisper.
I watched as both Tiifu and Zuri went outside the den. Kiara on the other hand, stood up and laid next to me.
"Kion?" she asked.
"Can we just... not talk about it?" I really didn't feel like talking right now.
"Sure."
Kiara rested her head on her forelegs, still laying close to me. Even if I don't want to talk, she's still there for me. I appreciated my sister so much for doing so.
"Thank you, Kiara. For always being there for me."
"No problem. Forever together, right?"
I smiled. "Yeah. Forever together."

*** Janja's POV ***
After talking to Mzingo, I went back to my clan. The information the vulture gave me was very interesting. I'll definitely keep in mind that Kion freezes as soon as he's near cliffs. In fact, I have an excellent plan to take advantage of his weakness. But since Kion is on another break, I'll save that plan for later.
As I arrived, I noticed Cheezi and Chungu were eating leftovers from some bones they must have found around the Outlands. Let's hope we'll get finally a good meal today!
"Alright, boys! If my intel is correct, then Kion is on another break from the Lion Guard! We can continue our previous plan!"
"But Janja, your plan didn't work the last time." Cheezi responded, before he continued licking the bone.
