I tried to text, call, even email y/n. Nothing. Even Ned or MJ hadn't heard anything from her. I called her parents but they would say she was busy, or just didn't want to talk.
You don't seem to be even the least bit concerned about me.
Her words rang in my head. It wasn't true, absolutely it wasn't. I was deeply concerned about her. Every second of every minute of every hour of every day. All I could do was worry about her. I was so mad at myself for not showing her how much I cared. For making her feel as though I didn't care. She deserved so much more than that.
"...Up-next the Spider Man mania that's sweeping the school, how can you show your Spider spirit?" I overheard on the schools t.v.
"Dude, dude, dude." Ned runs up to me. "What's it like being famous when no one knows it's you?"
"Crazy man." I shake my head. "Have you heard from y/n yet?"
"Still nothing, man. I'm sure she'll turn around eventually." Ned tried to console me. "It's not like her to stay mad at you."
"I guess." I shrug, noticing that the whole hallway had snapped their heads towards Ned and I, pointing and whispering. I turn around and look behind us confused, confusion turning to shock when I realise who's coming down the hallway.
"Is that who I think it is?" Ned asks, just as astonished as I am.
"It can't be."
"What's up nerd's?" She approaches us, smirking.
"What's with the new look y/n?" Ned questions, taking in the drastic new appearance. She'd dyed her hair black with green streaks through it, was wearing dark eyeliner and dark brown lipstick, and clothes I was sure I'd never seen prior to today.
"I got sick of the same old, same old." She shrugged. "Thought I'd try something new."
My brain still couldn't process this was the same person I've known for the last almost 10 years of my life. "I liked your old look though."
"I guess it's convenient I don't really give 2 shits about what you think Parker." She fires back, Ned and I taken aback. "I'll see you later." She turns around and walks down the hallway.
"What the hell just happened?" I ask Ned wide eyed.
"Dude, I think you broke her."

Sorry to interrupt lol, I know this is a 'self-insert' book but basically imagine the character of y/n adopting the personality/look of Jade West from Victorious. Sorry if you don't like her lol but that's who I'm going to be basing her off of now bc I thought she was getting a little boring. I might also add in some gifs of her idk, let me know what you think.
