Chapter 3 - The Empress

Y/N ' POV

I woke up from the annoying beeps of my alarm, It's 5:30 AM already. I have a packed schedule today. I can only sigh and hope I'll make it through the day. My sched will start at 7:30 AM, I have to drop by the University to submit some papers and have a meeting with a couple of my business partners. Yes, I am studying and working at the same time. How do I do it? Idk either.

I'm Yamamoto Y/N, the runaway heiress of Asia's No.1 Mafia. I've been travelling around the world for the past 11 months trying to hide from my parent's wrath. Well, I can't help it. I want to create my own name, my own legacy. I can't bare the idea of being the heiress of the mafia so I ended up running away from home. Of course, my lovely parents didn't took it well. The minute they heard I went MIA they immediately sent their men to look for me all over Japan and yes, I am Japanese. I was trained all my life to take over my Dad's throne by the age of 21. They sent me to boot camps to learn how to handle various firearms, Combat trainings as if I'll be in a UFC ring the next day to professional driving lessons as if I'll be the next Lewis Hamilton of Formula 1. I've been through all sorts of training just so I can be the "Perfect" heiress of the clan.

At first, I was enjoying it, but as years goes by I'm starting to hate every ounce of it. I grew up being taught how to act like the "Empress of the clan" but it was never what I wanted. That's why I ended up creating an escape plan when I was 16. It took me 4 years before I was able to put it into action. Luckily, I have tons of personal connection that's outside the Mafia. The moment I had the opportunity to run, I did. I flew straight to London. I stayed there for a month until I was able to lay out my Master plan on how will I be able to stay lowkey and hid my Identity.

I wasn't alone though, I escaped with my three musketeers, Minato, Zain and Alessandro. They're my guards/manager/knight in black suits. They were definitely against my plan of running away from home knowing how my dad would react if he learned about it, but of course being my stubborn and persistent self, they ended up agreeing with me. Only because Minato said "We'd rather runaway with you than end up headless because of your stupid escape getaway that your dad would end up killing the three of us. Besides, the empress can never live a day without her 3 handsome imperial guards. Right?"

With that being said, we flew with my private plane to London. Settled there for over a month until everything was clear and we flew to different countries to have a little vacation and build some connections to possible business partners.

That's how I ended up in Seoul, South Korea. I decided to settle here for good, besides the fact that's it's convenient and similar to home, I have more business here. So, I changed my whole Identity and create a whole different "image".

No one really knows my real self, I go by the name Lee Y/N. I enrolled to Seoul National University and took Business management as my major. I've been here for over 6 months now and everything seems to be working out fine. I know that I'm still not safe from my father's wrath but I'm willing to risk everything I have just to live the life that I have now. I'm also a business investor to various industries here in Seoul, well specifically in the entertainment industry.

Speaking of business, I have a meeting at 12 PM sharp, One of my business partners have a lot of troubles lately and I need to be present in the board meeting since I hold 35% of their stocks, which means I'm a majority of their shares and my opinion/decisions will matter to whatever direction they want to pursue in the business.

I started my day just like how I do for the past 6 months. I went for a 2km jog then hit the gym for 30 minutes and took a hot shower to refresh myself. After that, I start my breakfast with a cold glass of 50 years old Japanese whisky, Suntory's Yamazaki.
