Chapter 32

Third Person's POV

They're now gathered at the living room. A random movie is playing but only Tzuyu gives attention to it.

Nayeon, being her usual self full of energy is running around the living room chasing Chaeyoung and Dahyun who's screaming at the top of their lungs.

Jihyo and Jeongyeon can only shake their heads with how much energy the bunny have even after all the exhausting activity they had earlier at the beach.

"I often wonder how she have so much energy." Jeongyeon comments, eyes still fixed at the running bunny.

"Yeah, I get tired just by watching her running around." Jihyo added. They giggled at the sight of the exhausted maknaes and Nayeon successfully getting the other PS5 controller from Dahyun.

The bunny celebrated in joy with her little happy dance when she finally get to play Tekken with a playful grin on her face.

"Sometimes unnie I wanna know what's inside your head." Tzuyu said plainly watching the fake maknae's happy dance.

Nayeon flashes her a toothy smile before settling at the couch in between Dahyun and Chaeyoung.

Sana sits beside Dahyun and cuddled the younger's arms.

Dubu on the other hand looks at her and saw her pouting. She stares at her unnie for a while contemplating whether she'll ask or not but decided to go with the latter.

So without saying anything, she opened her arms and let her unnie hug her fully.

Sana nuzzles at the crook of Dahyun's neck while the younger plays with her hair and hugs her tighter.

"Sana-unnie?" Dahyun called her softly. Sana only hums in response and buries her face even more at her neck making her giggle.

Dahyun wasn't able to answer her when she felt her unnie's soft breathing at her neck. It somehow sends shivers down her spine, making her feel a tingling twist in her stomach.

She shrugged it off and lays a soft kiss on top of her head. "I miss you unnie" she said softly.

"Me too dahyunnie" Sana replied unaware of the glares thrown at them.

Momo frowns at the sight of Sana and Dahyun cuddling at the couch. Her eyes roam around the living room finding a certain Japanese. She heard light footsteps from the stairs and found the girl she's been looking for walking side by side with Mina.

She watches them walk down the stairs, their flush cheeks and swollen lips didn't go unnoticed but what makes her wonder is y/n's puffy eyes.

She felt something odd and turns her gaze at Sana who buried her face even further in Dahyun's neck after heaving a heavy sigh. That's when she realized what's up. She shakes her head knowing the reason why the snake seems so down but she knows as well that she's in no position to meddle in their business.

"Anybody wants to watch the sunset?" Momo asked getting the girl's attention.

"Me!" Nayeon said immediately standing up and walks toward y/n stealing her away from Mina's side.

"And this baby is coming with me!" She added before flashing her toothy grin making y/n giggle at her cuteness.

"Whatever makes you happy Nayeonnie" Y/n said, she reached for the older's cheeks and caressed it gently before tucking a strand of loose her hair behind her ear. A sweet gesture that unknowingly sends butterflies at the bunny's stomach, tainting a light shade of pink on her cheeks.

"Yah! You're making me shy baby" Nayeon replied playfully smacking y/n's arms but still clings at the younger's side.

"Me! I wanna watch the sunset too!" Chaeyoung exclaimed

They all ended up agreeing in watching the sunset together except for Sana who's awfully quiet.

"How about you Sana-unnie? Aren't you coming with us?" Tzuyu asked loud enough for everyone to look at the latter anticipating for her response.

Sana shook her head in response and said "I'm a bit tired from all the stuffs we did earlier, I'll just wait here."

"Are you sure unnie?" Dahyun asked her with a bit concern lingering in her tone

"Yes Dahyunnie, now go and watch the sunset, I'll stay here." She said smiling at the latter while she pushes her towards Tzuyu.

"Alright then, Let's go!!!" Chaeyoung said excitedly before running out of villa in excitement. The girls followed her from behind with Nayeon still clinging at Y/n.

"Wait, I'll just grab my phone, you go first nayeonnie, I'll be there in a minute" Y/n said, stopping the bunny before they exit the villa.

"Okay, be quick. I wanna cuddle with you while watching the sunset baby y/nnie" Nayeon replied.

Y/n smiled at her before jogging her way back inside the villa.

She went back to the living room only to find it empty. She roams her eyes inside and heard a muffled sobs coming from the kitchen.

She didn't hesitate to walk towards the kitchen and there she found her unnie, muffling her sobs with her hand while the other holds for support at the kitchen counter.

Her chest aches seeing her unnie at such state. She didn't think twice and approach her startling the latter.

Sana looks surprised seeing her. "What are you doing here?" She manage to ask in between her sobs.

Y/n cups her cheeks and gently wipes her tears away. "Shouldn't I be asking you that?" She replied softly

Sana closed her eyes leaning at her touch as her tears continues to fall from eyes. Y/n pulls her towards herself and hug her tightly.

"I'm sorry" Y/n said softly kissing the top of her crown. "Whatever I did wrong, I'm sorry. It hurts me even more seeing you like this sa-chan" she added

Sana didn't bother answering and lets herself fall deeper in y/n's arms. Y/n lifts her face and met her eyes shining through the tears.

"I still wonder how you have the whole universe in your eyes. I can't help but get lost whenever I look at it Sana-chan" y/n said, caressing her cheeks gently with a small smile on her face.

"My time is running out and if I would be given a chance to go back on a specific moment of today, it would be right at this moment where I got the chance to look at the stars within your eyes." Y/n added.

Sana finally looks at her and saw y/n staring at her sadly. She doesn't understand what the younger meant to say when she said her time is running out, but one thing is for sure, her heart is beating madly inside her chest and all the pain she felt earlier magically disappears with every touch of y/n's finger on her cheeks.

So before she even thought of it, she held y/n's hand on her face and said those three words that's been lingering at the tip of her tongue "I love you"

She finally said it, and even before y/n can reply, she leaned forward crashing their lips together, afraid of y/n's reaction, Sana kissed her hoping her feelings reaches the latter.

Y/n stood still, her mind short circuits after hearing Sana's confession. She snaps back to her senses when she felt a pair of lips on hers, kissing her hungrily and passionately, all the walls she built came crashing down.

She held her waist and pulls her even closer, reciprocating the kiss towards the older Japanese.

Alex and Zain watches them by the door. They both felt a sting in their chest knowing all the possibilities that's awaiting for them in the future.

"And only if destiny would allow, then maybe, just maybe... Y/n can stay in this moment forever." Alex said before turning his back and walked away.

"Just maybe..." Zain whispered to himself and followed his partner.
