Chapter 24 - ynniehyo

Third Person's POV 

Y/n and Jihyo arrived at their first destination today. "I hope you like oranges..." Y/n said slightly scratching her nape. 

Jihyo chuckled at her shyness, "Yes I do, Don't worry" she replied.

Y/n gave her the widest smile she can before dragging her towards the entrance of the farm. "Great! Then let's get started" y/n said.

They are now in one of the biggest tangerine farm in the island, Y/n thought that harvesting tangerines is somewhat an authentic experience at Jejudo so, she brought the latter here today for their so called "date".

"Here take this" Y/n said as she handed a basket and a small pruning shear to Jihyo.

Y/n helped her wear her gloves and fixed her hat, making the older blush at y/n's actions.

Jihyo mumbled a soft "Thank you" earning a  giggle from y/n 

Y/n fixed herself as well while Jihyo watches her quietly, admiring how cute the younger one looks like with her bucket hat with a basket on her hand. 

After the farmer instructed them how to cut the stems and how to recognize a ripe and sweet tangerine Y/n thought of an idea something about adding up some twist.  "Let's play a game! The one who harvest the most and of course the sweetest can wish anything that the loser needs to grant!" Y/n exclaimed.

Jihyo just giggled at her before giving her a nod agreeing to whatever the younger said. "Who will be the judge then?" She asked.

"Well, since it's just the two of us, how about we ask the rest of the girls later back at the hotel? like you know, let them be judges themselves" Y/n replied with a cheeky smile making the other smile at her as well.

"That's a great idea. So we have about 10 minutes?" Jihyo said

"Yes sure! Let's go!" Y/n said before running towards the orange trees. "Yah! Wait up you cheater! I didn't get to say start yet!" Jihyo said catching up to the younger one.

Y/n only laughed at her and proceed to tasting different tangerines from different trees looking for the sweetest she can find.

After exactly 10 minutes, the two went back to the entrance of the farm with their baskets full of oranges. Y/n slumped at the bench with a sigh of relief. "Gosh, I didn't know picking tangerines can be this tiring" She said.

"Hahaha, as if you didn't enjoy it, like you said something about "authentic jeju experience" right? " Jihyo said, mimicking how the latter described their first activity for their date.

"Yah! it's true! You can't do this back in Seoul you know!" Y/n said, obviously sulking by how Jihyo mimicked her making the older laugh at her pouty face.

"Aigoo~ y/nnie is sulky haha stop pouting." Jihyo said pinching y/n's cheeks making her pout more.

"ahhh my cheeks~" Y/n whined as Jihyo still kept on pinching at her now reddened cheeks. 

"You're cute." Jihyo said staring at y/n's eyes. Y/n can't explain the sudden tingles she felt inside her stomach. She somehow felt hot suddenly making her blush at the unexpected compliment from the older. 

"Y-yah, I know I am. tsk" She replied, mentally cursing herself for stuttering. 

Jihyo just giggled at her before giving her a peck on her cheeks that now even more redder than it was. 

"Y/nnie, I didn't know calling you cute can make you blush this hard" Jihyo said with teasing smile, Y/n covered her face trying to save herself from embarrassment.
