Third Person's POV
Y/n followed Jihyo inside the Cafe. There's not much people inside so they sat comfortably at the corner table.
"So what do you want to talk about?" Jihyo started while mixing her coffee.
"Well, I already talked to Uncle Jinyoung about this..." Y/n said nervously
Jihyo looked at her curiously, anticipating the next words she'll say.
"I wrote a song recently and I'm planning to produce it. But I need someone to sing it for me, and I thought that maybe... It'll be perfect if it's you." Y/n added
Jihyo was touched with Y/n's thoughtfulness.
"Well, consider it as my wish maybe?" Y/n said with a toothy smile. Using her strongest card, she knows Jihyo can't and won't refuse her this way.
Jihyo smiled warmly at the younger one before reaching for her cheeks and squished the heck of her face and said "Just tell me whenever you want to record y/nnie, I'll be there."
Y/n lightly slapped her hands away and hugged her tightly.
"It means a lot to me Jihyo-chan"
"Always here at your service Y/nnie" Jihyo replied playfully
After talking about y/n's plan and everything else, the two went on separate ways.
Jihyo went back to their dorm to get some rest while Y/n decided to stay at JYPE.
As soon as she enters the entertainment, she hurriedly went to the studio that was specially arranged for her by JYP himself.
Alex quietly follows her inside as Y/n makes herself comfortable at the studio.
"Alex," Y/n called him softly
"Yes empress?" He replied almost immediately
"Do you think I made the right decision?" Y/n asked
"About what empress?" He replied, quirking his brows.
"Everything..." Y/n replied too softly that he can feel the depth of what she meant.
"I honestly don't know either empress, I mean, you're clearly hurting and it's taking a toll on your well being, but you also said that this is the only way you can think of and you don't want to hurt her more." Alex replied trying to tread his words carefully.
"But honestly, I think she deserves an explanation to understand why you're doing this and why you both ended up this way, I mean she might feel like you lead her on with false hopes and ghosted her after you had fun." He added.
"I'm pretty sure that it's the least that you wanted her to feel and to think of right?" He asked y/n with a gentle smile on his lips.
Y/n nodded silently. She's certain that she already made a wrong decision and how shitty she made her feel. Still, she doesn't have the courage to talk to her or do anything about it.
"I'm guessing that you don't know what to do and you're planning to just leave it as it is, thinking that this is easier. Right?" Alex said
Y/n heaved a heavy sigh and nodded in response.
"I'll explain it to her soon, but on a different way I know she'll understand." Y/n said
"And that's by writing a song for her isn't it?" Alex replied
"Yes... I mean, it's the least that I can do for her, atleast I'll be leaving her with something that she can remember or listen to whenever..." Y/n replied.
"We both know that there's no certainty if we'll still cross paths someday. Besides, I don't think I'll be going back here anytime soon." Y/n added
Alex nodded in understanding. He knows that what Y/n said is true and they can't do anything about it either.
Somehow, this is something that's inevitable in her fate. What should she expect anyway, she's the Yamamoto Y/n. No matter how hard she tries to run away from that brutal reality, that's the truth. It'll always find it's way to haunt her.
"Well, I better start working now tho, I only have a few days left." Y/n said, flashing her toothy smile but it doesn't meet her eyes. Something that didn't go unnoticed to Alex.
It's already past 11pm when Y/n noticed a notification on her phone. She spent the last couple of hours trying to create the perfect melody to her lyrics.
She gave alex the sheets of paper along with her Ipad and sat at the couch. She opened her phone and saw a missed phone call from Mina.
She didn't think twice and immediately dialed the number.
Calling 🐧...
Mina: Moshi moshi
Y/n: Hey, I just checked my
phone, I saw you called
earlier
Mina: Oh yes, I just want to
check if you got home already
Mina: You haven't sent anything yet
I was kinda worried
Y/n: Oh, sorry I'm still at
the studio.
Y/n: Uncle Jinyoung set a new studio for me here in the company
Mina: Hm, that's great then.
Mina: I can easily see you
whenever I miss you
Y/n: Ikr, you're one clingy
penguin aren't you?
Mina: Only to you Y/nnie
Mina: Anyway are you about
to go home now?
Y/n: Yes, why?
Mina: Can I sleep with you tonight?
Y/n: Oh why? We're literally
together just couple of hours
ago Minari-chan.
Mina: Can't I miss you?
Mina: We'll just sleep, I promise
Y/n: Hmm,
Mina: Please babe?
Y/n: *sighs* Get ready I'll be
there in 15 minutes.
Mina: Yey! Hihi, laters baby 😚
Y/n: Hmm...
Call ended...
"So I'm assuming we'll pick her up at their dorm?" Alex said
"What else are we supposed to do anyway, that penguin is irresistibly annoying." Y/n replied
Alex chuckled at her response and shook his head.
"You love her that way." Alex
replied
"Hate to admit it but yeah, I love her that way." Y/n replied
"I'm done, let's go. I don't want to deal with a sulky penguin because were late. I told her we'll be there in 15 mins." Y/n added before leaving the studio not minding the
Alex chuckled and followed her right away.
