Chapter 4 - Ojisan

Y/N's POV

Timeskip

Finally the meeting ended after 2 full hours. I'm drained. We discussed a lot of things but we mainly focused on the company's plan towards the 2 main girl groups that they have. Mostly about the concepts, funds allocation and plans for the next 3 quarters of the year.

We are now on our way to Jinyoung's office. He said he have something personal that he wanted to discuss to me. I wasn't fond of the idea at first but I decided to go for it. It wouldn't harm talking to him outside the board room right? Besides the 3 idiots is with me.

We stopped in front of a huge door that has a gold plated label outside saying "JYP ". Zain talked to his secretary.

She immediately stood up to assist us. "PD-nim, Ms. Lee is here." She said, opening the door for us.

"Come in! I was waiting for you Y/N-ssi" he stood up welcoming us. He motioned us to take a sit so I did. I went in with Zain and Minato. Alex was left outside the office to personally guard the door for us since I really hate being interrupted during personal meetings.

"Welcome to JYP Entertainment Y/N-ssi. I personally want to say thank you for being part of the board meeting earlier knowing your schedules and our late notice the other night. I really appreciate your presence in the meeting. It means a lot to me since I was finally able to introduce you to the rest of the board members and some of the heads of the company" he said.

"It's a pleasure having business with you Uncle, Long time no see!" I said, giving him a warm hug.

"Indeed, it's been years since I've seen you. You grew up so well Y/N. How have you been?" He said as he look at me from head to toe holding both my shoulders.

"Well, I'm surviving so far. Business is doing great and they haven't found me yet. hahahah" I replied while observing the set up of his office. His office is not that vibrant, In fact, it boast a bit sense of class and power. "Not bad" I thought.

"Aish! You naughty kid. No wonder your father went berserk the moment he heard you run away. How are you coping so far run away empress?" He teasingly asked.

"Hahaha Uncle! Stop calling me empress. It's awkward hahaha! Well like I said, so far I'm doing great. I enrolled to Seoul National University and took a business major. Most of my business are booming and I can say that I'm enjoying the busy life here in Seoul." I added as I walk around his office. "So tell me how did you do the impossible getaway?" I started telling him the story from how I started planning the escape to how I ended up in Seoul.

JYP is a good friend of mine. We're kinda close after the last encounter that we had in Tokyo. He's business used to be associated with ours' and he used to be close friend of my dad.

They grew up together both taking business class abroad when JYP pursue his career in the entertainment industry in South Korea and dad needs to fly back to Japan to take over the throne and lead the Mafia.

They grew apart after pursuing different paths but they tried to maintain there friendship until one day, There was a controversy about the Mafia and Warner Japan that caused their business to be cut short. Dad suddenly pulled out all of his investments in Warner Japan which caused a huge impact to JYP since Warner is their business associate in Japan.

That's when things went downhill for dad's relationship with JYP. Nevertheless, He kept in touch with me knowing that I had an interest with music and a different perception towards the world compared to my father. That's how I end up in business with JYP, I Invested some of my funds to his company when they were having financial struggle last quarter of 2019 to help them with a project that gave them an opening to bounce back to business.
