Chapter 28 - 💤

Third Person's POV

Sana woke up in the middle of the night to an empty space beside her. She sprung out of bed trying to look for a certain girl around the room, but  there's not even a single trace of her.

"Baby girl?" She softly said but no response. "Y/nnie?" She said a little bit louder this time but still, she got no response.

Sana started to panic and run out of their bedroom. She remember y/n's words last night. It hurts her but she still don't have the guts to ask why or what caused her to decide like that.

She keep on pacing back and fort mumbling "No... No... No... She hasn't left me. Not yet."gripping on her hair out of frustration.

"Y/nnie?! Where are you?!" She shouted outside their living room. She still didn't receive any response so she decided to look for the girl and change her clothes.

She run towards their shared walk-in closet and changed to a sweatpants and a hoodie.

"Please... God, not again..." She whispered, tears slowly fall from her eyes. She can't help it. She finally realized why Y/n has been familiar all this time.

She have so many questions and what ifs inside her head. She hurriedly went out of their room and rush towards their elevator.

She run towards the reception "Hi good morning, have you seen Y/n?" She said trying to catch her breath

"Good morning Ms. Minatozaki, Unfortunately we haven't seen Y/n-san since the meeting earlier." The lady said looking at her worriedly because her tears are uncontrollably falling from her eyes and she's panting as if she was running for her life a minute ago.

"Maybe she's in her suite at the top floor Ma'am," the lady added

"No, I looked for her everywhere in that damned suite but I haven't seen her." Sana said frustratingly gripping at the counter.

She don't know what to do. She felt a painful sting in her chest causing her to grip on it. "Are you okay ma'am? Here drink this" the lady said giving her a bottled water.

Sana took the water and slightly bow towards the reception "Thanks, but how about Alex have you seen him around?" She asked

"Oh, yes ma'am. I saw him passing by a couple of minutes ago, I think he's going that way" the lady said pointing at the west wing of the resort.

"Thank you," Sana said before hurriedly went towards the direction the lady was saying.

"Alex-ssi!!!" She shouted getting the attention of Alex who was surprised on how she looked like.

Sana jogged towards him. "Hey Sana-ssi what's up? Are you okay?" He asked

Sana tries to relax herself first while catching her breath. She wiped her tears away before facing alex,  "Where is Y/n? Have you seen her?"

Alex was taken aback by her question. His eyes widen when he realized the reason for Sana's panic state. He didn't think twice and fished his phone out of his pocket to call the other two boys.

"Aren't you supposed to be with her in you room Sana-chan?" He said worriedly.

Alex already have a hint of Y/n's location but he still wanted to discuss it with his teammates.

"No, i woke up without her beside me. I looked all over the damned room but she's nowhere." She replied

"Please Alex, help me find her." She said again pleading to the younger man.

Sana bursted in tears cause of worry. She doesn't know what to do. She's panicking and worried at the same time.

She's trying to convince herself that it's not what she thinks and maybe, y/n just need some space tonight to think.

"I'm sorry Sana. I'm not in the place to talk about it. I understand what you feel but still, Y/n is our empress, what she want is what she gets." Alex softly replied

"As much as I wanted to help you, the empress wouldn't wanted to be found,  specially not by you Sana-ssi." He added

Sana wasn't able to respond after hearing his words.

"Tomorrow will be your flight back to Seoul, your managers will be with you but I don't think we'll be there too." Alex said, his trying to be as blunt and as truthful as he can because he knows that sugarcoating the truth will only hurt the latter.

He felt guilty, specially that he knows exactly what's been going on with Y/n and Sana after the night that Y/n had her breakdown.

"It's still to early for your flight Sana-ssi, I think it would be best for you to take a rest again." He added before turning his back against the latter and started walking away.

Sana wasn't able to say anything at all, the only thing that's been running in her mind is that Y/n left her. Again.

She just stood there frozen, not even moving an inch even after Alex was completely out of her sight.

As if the skies above wanted to accompany her for the night, heavy raindrops started falling from the sky at the same time her hot tears started falling from her eyes.

She stood there and didn't even bother to go back to her hotel room despite the heavy rain that's continuously pouring above her head.

"Y/n..." She whispered before she fell on her knees and cried her heart out.

The rain poured harder as Sana cries louder, she's breathing heavily while holding her chest. It hurts. It hurts her so much that she can feel how her heart aches every sob.

It didn't take long thunders and lighting started roaring along with the heavy rain making her curl up into a ball and another loud thunder crashed.

"Ahhhhh!!!!!" She shouted

She's breathing heavily while holding her chest. She look around her only to  realize that it was all just a dream. A very bad dream that felt so real.

"Hey, you okay?" Y/n said waking up after Sana shouted in her sleep startling her.

Sana looked at her and immediately hugged her as tight as she can.

"You're here.... you're here." She said repeatedly.

"I am Sana-chan." Y/n replied reciprocating her hug while she stroke her unnies hair to calm her down.

Sana didn't let go of her for the rest of the night. They laid back in bed still hugging in each other.

Sana tightened her hug towards y/n still afraid of how her dream felt so real.

Y/n on the other hand was confused on why Sana is acting like that. But instead of questioning her, she shrugged it off and decided to comfort her unnie.

"I'm not going anywhere sa-chan. I'm here." She said, drawing circles on her unnie's back

They stayed in that position till they both drift back to dreamland. Sana laying on Y/n's arms as she wrap her arms around y/n's waist while her head is place near y/n's chest listening to her heartbeat.
