Third Person's POV

Chaeyoung finally snapped back to herself and jumped at her, luckily y/n have fast reflexes and caught her. She clinged to y/n like a panda giving the warmest welcome she can to her friend.

"Damn y/nnie it's been only a week but I miss you so much!" Chaeyoung said.

"I can see that" Y/n lightly chuckled as she find it amusing how light the cub is and how funny she clings on her.

"Yah! Chaeyoung-ah you're crushing the baby!" Nayeon exclaimed as she went towards them and helped y/n come inside with the cub still embracing her.

"But she's our baby" Chaeyoung replied cutely after finally letting y/n go. Y/n scratched her head with a huge grin on her face. She doesn't know why but she's love it whenever the girls welcomes her this way.

"Well then hello there baby," Mina said with a playful smirk as she walk towards y/n who immediately showed her gummy smile and spread her arms when she saw the penguin.

Mina giggled at her reaction and didn't think twice to dive into her arms. The moment she was inside y/n's embrace everything else became slow motion on a certain squirrel's perspective.

The way how y/n smiles so bright with her eyes closed as the other Japanese buries her face at the crook of her neck a while they share a warm hug.

"That should be me..."  She thought to herself.

The two finally let go of each other but of course, with Mina giving her a peck at the side of her lips as if it's the most normal thing she does on a daily basis which completely surprises her members while y/n on the other hand shrugs it off as if she's used to it.

Mina pulled her inside and made her sit on her spot.

"Since you decided to be santa again without my permission, you better eat with us or I'm confiscating your fave keys." She said while handing her the chopsticks as she put some chicken karage on y/n's plate.

"Yeah yeah of course I'll eat, I'm starving." Y/n replied. She looked at her side where Sana was sitting but Sana stood up and sat between Tzuyu and Dahyun which is in front of them.

"How have you been y/nnie" Jeongyeon greeted the latter while giving her a cup of orange juice.

"I've been well unnie," Y/n replied before Mina asked her to open her mouth and shoved a piece of chicken inside.

"But you've been starving yourself so not so well then right babe?" Mina said.

Their eyes widen with the sudden endearment from Mina. It's not like her to call anyone with endearment and act boldly like how she is right now with y/n.

Sana on the other hand was battling with herself whether she'll stay on her sit and watch the two in front of her or she'll ran out of the room and pretend that something came up.

"How was your week y/nnie?" Momo asked trying to initiate a conversation with y/n who's clearly unaware of the fuming squirrel in front of her.

"Oh yes, about that, I've been spending my days somewhere in Jeollanam-do." Y/n replied. Her answer perked up Chaeyoung who's busy with her strawberry cheesecake again.

"Wow! Don't tell me you went to the grand prix and raced with your boys." Chaeyoung said excitedly.

"And that's exactly what I've been doing cub!" Y/n said as they high-fived.

"Wow really?! God I want to go there too!!!" Chaeyoung replied

"Who were you with?" Jihyo asked
