Third Person's POV
After the little drama inside the practice room, Y/n excused herself from the girls. She just want to be alone right now. She went up to the company's rooftop and sat at one of the benches.
The view was beautiful, you can see the busy streets of Seoul. She sat there in silence lost in her own thoughts not noticing the person that sat beside her.
She was startled when she felt a hand above her shoulders but relaxes right away when she smelled the familiar scent of vanilla.
"Penny for your thoughts?" The girl said
"I... Honestly, I'm not thinking of anything at all. I just- I feel lost" Y/n replied
"It's because you're torn between doing what you think is right or doing what you really want to." She replied
"Maybe I am..." Y/n sighed and leaned her head on her shoulder.
"I sometimes wonder how would it be if I wasn't Yamamoto Y/n, maybe life would have been a bit more bearable don't you think?" Y/n said lifting her head slightly looking at her side.
"Maybe, maybe not, but then again we'll never know because no matter what, still at the end of the day, you're still the Yamamoto Y/n." The latter replied
"Mina-chan? Aren't you scared of me or at least for yourself?" Y/n asked curiously
Mina smiled at her softly, patting her head a little and said "Not at all, I'm fully aware of what I got myself into the moment I talked to you that night back in Jeju"
"Besides, why would I be scared of you ynnie? Just because you're the Yamamoto Y/n doesn't mean I have to be scared of you. I know that you just need a little more understanding and love. You're a one big ball of sunshine. My sunshine" Mina added, caressing y/n's hair as she wrap her arms around the latter.
"Thank you minari-chan" Y/n replied snuggling her face on penguin's neck.
Mina felt shivers down her spine when she felt y/n's breath on her neck. Butterflies explodes in her stomach and she doesn't dare to stop y/n either, she knows she likes it anyway.
She tightened her arms around the younger Japanese and kiss the top of her head.
"Just promise me you'll stay in contact no matter what you do, or else I'll personally fly to Kobe to beat you." Mina said
Y/n chuckled at her statement and shook her head before sitting properly to face her penguin. She lift her hand with pinky pointing towards Mina.
"Pinky promise" Y/n said with a huge smile on her face.
Mina melts at her cuteness. She cupped Y/n's cheek and quickly pecked her lips.
"That's how you seal a promise y/nnie" She said seriously while looking straight at Y/n's eyes.
Y/n felt shy of her boldness and averted her gaze away from the older Japanese.
"You're blushing hard again y/nnie, did I make your heart flutter?" Mina said teasing y/n making the latter stood up abruptly.
"I-I remember that I have some stuffs to do I-I w-will get going now Mina-chan, see you later bye!" Y/n scolded herself mentally for stuttering but she just can't help it.
Who wouldn't panick when Myoi Mina flirts at you like that, Right?
So to stop herself from furtherly embarrassing herself in front of her Mina-chan, she went back inside and walk straight towards the elevator, silently praying that Mina didn't followed her.
Of course, being the lucky bitch that she is, just before the elevator door closes, Mina's hand stop it and went inside.
"That's a bit rude of you babe for living me out there" Mina said and clinged her hands around y/n's arm.
Y/n can't help by sigh in defeat because she knows for sure that Mina wouldn't be letting her go anytime soon.
"Yeah, yeah whatever. Let's just go back to your members they might be looking for you." Y/n replied.
After a couple more hours of practice, the girls decided to wrap it up and call it a day.
Y/n took this opportunity to approach Jihyo. She cautiously walk towards her and stood infront of her.
"Hey unnie..." Y/n said softly
"Hey y/nnie, what's up?" Jihyo replied looking at her while still putting all her stuffs inside her bag.
"Can we talk? Privately?" Y/n said softly but loud enough for the others to hear. The rest of the girls curiously looked towards their direction.
"Yeah sure, give me a minute" Jihyo replied.
Y/n can feel the stare she's receiving at the back of her head, so she turned around and was surprised to see who it was.
Sana was staring at her with a straight face. Her hazel eyes are still as beautiful as y/n can remember but it's not as bright as it used to, somehow she just can't read it.
She doesn't have the courage to speak nor move a single muscle to approach her. The only thing she can do is to avoid her gaze and look away.
Sana heaves a sigh at y/n's reaction. She wanted to approach the younger one but it seems like she isn't ready to talk yet.
She decided to hold back for now, she tighten her grip on her duffle bag and walked away, without even looking back.
The rest of the members are fully aware of the sudden tension in the room after Sana and y/n's staring contest, but they decided to shrug it off knowing that they can't just jump into the fire between the two.
They watched how Y/n stood frozen after Sana left the room, how she unconsciously teared up when she saw how Sana walk away so calmly without sparing her any final glance.
They have no idea of what really happened between the two but they can't just bring up the topic over dinner as well either, so again, they just let it be.
Jihyo cleared her throat snapping y/n out of her trance. "Let's go?" She said
"Y-yeah sure." Y/n replied awkwardly.
They bid their goodbyes to the rest of the girls and went out of the practice room.
