Who are Christians?
The Christians are people that believe that Christ died and arose for their sins. They are people that believe in having eternal life after believing in the only begotten son of God. The Christians believe solely in God and what is revealed by him through Jesus Christ. They are Christians because they have the ways of Christ in their behavior and reasoning. They are not moralists, yet do not believe in carefree living. Rather, they believe that people should live in honor to God. Christians believe solely in the teachings contained in the bible. They believe only in Jesus Christ as the Messiah of the whole world.
What does it mean to be born again?
It is common among people to call someone with a different thinking or behavior as being born again. According to the bible, a man that is born again is born from above. The person is born incorruptible. The person is born of the spirit. The person that is born again has heard the message of the gospel from a preacher. The preacher accurately teaches the fact that Christ rose for the justification of the man. When the person believes, the person is born again. To be born again is to be justified and declared righteous before God. The holiness and righteousness are things inherited from believing in the Gospel of Jesus. This is the salvation of their soul.
Why do Christians have the bible?
The Christians have the bible because it is the only book that contains documentations of facts about their belief or faith. Without the bible, there will be no reference point as to whom should be consulted about Jesus Christ and God as relating to the faith of Christians.
The bible is the most important book to the Christians. This is because, for them, it is the only literature that is used to prove their faith and what God has in store for them. The bible is the book about the plan of God. In the bible is the explanation of who God is - God is light and life. Without the bible, the Christian faith will be null and void. Nobody will be able to preach and disciple other men in fulfilling the plan of God on earth.. It also serves as comforting books for people in distress. This is done by them reading and knowing about the plans of God for them, even beyond the present world.
The bible is the all and all for every Christian. There is no greater book, really.
