Imagine: Being in a friends with benefits relationship with Asmodeus.
You smiled to yourself as you opened the letter that you received. You unfolded the paper inside and read the letter to yourself. It read:
Darling Y/N,
I hope this letter finds you well. I've been stuck in Hell all week, waiting for a moment to escape and come see you. Tonight might be the only night I have. Meet me? Midnight at the Bluebird.
Asmodeus
You closed the note as you looked at the time. It was one o'clock in the afternoon so you had plenty of time before you met up with Asmodeus. You were a demon, like Asmodeus, but you did mostly fieldwork - making deals and such. Meanwhile, Asmodeus was currently leading Hell in the absence of both the King, Crowley and the devil himself, Lucifer.
You and Asmodeus met while he was in hiding. He was the last Knight of Hell alive and he wanted to keep it that way. So, he hid on Earth. You ran into him one time when you were making a deal at the Bluebird Diner in Iowa. The man you were supposed to be making a deal with was a sorry excuse for a life.
He was a criminal, and a bad one at that. He liked to pull off petty theft and vandalism. He had decided to expand his job, however, to other crimes. He ended up trying to break and enter the house of a rich family.
What he didn't realize, or bothered to notice per se, was that the family was still inside the house because he did it in the middle of the night. His goal was to escape unnoticed, but he was a clutz and ended up knocking stuff over. The father of the family immediately came down with a gun in his hand.
The man got the jump on him though and wrestled the gun away from him. He panicked and shot the father and with his mind clouded with thoughts of jail, he then proceeded to kill the rest of the family, not wanting any witnesses.
His DNA was left all over the crime scene though and the cops were able to pin the murders to him. He had come to you at the crossroads to make the deal, but told you it was too out in the open and that he thought it would be a better idea to meet at a diner where there would be other people to blend in with.
You thought it was a horrible idea because his photo was all over the news and you believed that he would be caught, but you didn't argue. After all, it wasn't your life. So you decided to make an exception just this once and met up with him at the diner.
When he told you everything that happened, you just felt bad for this man. He wasn't asking for a rich life or for the police to stop chasing him. No, he asked for you to change his identity. He believed that if you changed his name and other demographics that everything would be fine. You almost wanted to facepalm in front of him, but you resisted.
You offered to change his look so that the cops couldn't find him, but he refused because he liked the way he looked. You decided not to press the issue and sealed the deal. You handed him an ID with a fake name, address, etc. on it and explained that his birth certificate and social security number would all be changed for him as well.
He was so thankful, he practically left the diner singing. You let out a groan after he left, thankful you didn't have to work with him anymore as you approached the counter at the diner. "Rough deal?" a voice with a thick accent asked from beside you.
You turned and saw a man sitting there with dark hair, dark eyes, and a beard. He was wearing an all-white suit which was a little out of place for the small diner, but it looked great on him. You had to admit he was quite attractive. You weren't afraid to talk about the deal you had made, because you could tell the man was a demon - you just didn't know how powerful he was.
