Imagine: You get captured by a djinn and dream of the perfect life where Castiel is your husband.
"I said no," Dean stated plainly as you felt the anger reaching a boiling point inside of you. "Why not!" You yelled at him for what felt like the millionth time that night. You, Sam, Dean, and Cas were in Little Rock, Arkansas working a djinn case, and you had spent the entire day trying to find out where it was hiding.
You had no success, however. Trying to make the team feel better about the unlucky day, you suggested coming up with a plan for when you did find the djinn, that way the hunt went as smoothly as possible. That was when Dean decided to tell you that you weren't going on the hunt with them which made you furious.
Dean has always been protective of you, he was like your big brother, but you were a hunter long before you ever met any of them, and you knew how to take care of yourself. "What do you mean?" you had asked him.
"Remember the last hunt?" Dean questioned in return. Memories of the last hunt you went on with the trio of boys flooded back into your mind. It had been a simple salt-and-burn case, but you had made one tiny mistake and ended up breaking your ankle.
"Dean, it was a broken ankle, not a fatal wound. Besides, I was really tired that night, because you wanted to get me drunk," you defended. Dean gave you a small glare, one that wasn't really mean but had seriousness written all over it. "It doesn't matter, you are sitting this one out, even if Cas has to stay behind to make sure you don't follow us," Dean responded, making you roll your eyes.
That was how the conversation started out, over an hour ago. Now, here you were still trying to convince him. But, from the looks of it, he had made up his mind and he wasn't changing it. So, you waited until Sam and Dean were asleep then you distracted Cas with a lie about hearing something outside the hotel room door. Cas had gone to the door, and opened it, looking out.
He claimed there was nothing there, but you asked him to search the perimeter. So, wanting to make you feel safer, he complied. He would do anything for you, which was something you didn't know because he didn't know how to tell you. But, truth be told, you would do anything for him as well. You were in love with him.
When Cas had passed to the side of the building, you quickly grabbed Dean's keys and ran out to the Impala. You got in, started the car, and sped off. You didn't know where you were going, but you were determined to prove to Dean that you really were a good hunter.
A few hours later, you drove past by a warehouse that appeared to be abandoned. You pulled into the parking lot that had been there and went to the trunk of the car. You opened up a case and pulled out your silver knife and the lamb's blood that was in the case. You dipped the knife in the blood before putting it away, and then cautiously walking inside the warehouse.
You searched every room in that warehouse, and you were making your way into a large room when all of a sudden the djinn came up behind you and forced you into the wall. You tried to stab him with your blade, but he knocked it out of your hand, placing his hand on your face, as he glowed blue saying the word, "Sleep." You felt your eyes close and your body give out as you fell asleep.
Third Person POV
Cas came back into the hotel room after having searched the perimeter. "Y/N?" he asked, but there was no response. "Y/N?" he asked again, looking around the hotel room. He then looked at the table where Dean had previously placed his keys and Cas let out a sigh. "Sam! Dean! Wake up!" Cas said in his gruff voice, immediately waking the boys up.
